Defenders For Animals is a non-profit and non-governmental organization, formed on September 2nd, 2020. We are based in Jhapa, Morang, and Sunsari from Province 1 and work in these districts. We work for the welfare of animals and their rights. We rescue the injured or wounded animals and provide the necessary treatment for them. We conduct various campaigns and programs, such as the Animal Birth
Control Program, Vaccination Campaign, Feeding Program, Awareness Campaign, etc. Initiated with the joint efforts of a friend circle who have got genuine love and attitude for animals, from all three districts of Eastern Nepal, we aim to expand our working area within all the districts of Province 1. More than an organization, Defenders For Stray Animals (Alliance For Animals) is thought for the welfare of animals that we intend to develop in the mindset of every individual. We collectively believe that our joint efforts and contributions can create a cruelty-free society for animals and can eradicate animal abuse.
