On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026, Friends Hetauda calls for meaningful and inclusive representation of Gender and Sexual Minorities in state structures, as guaranteed by the Constitution of Nepal. Symbolic or “colourful” participation is not enough, we need genuine inclusion and equal representation.

अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय महिला दिवस २०२६ को अवसरमा, फ्रेण्ड्स हेटौंडाले नेपालको संविधानले सुनिश्चित गरेको लैङ्गिक तथा यौनिक अल्पसंख्यक समुदायको राज्य संरचनामा अर्थपूर्ण र समावेशी प्रतिनिधित्वको माग गर्दछ। केवल प्रतीकात्मक वा “रंगीन” सहभागिता मात्र पर्याप्त छैन, हामीलाई वास्तविक समावेशिता र समान प्रतिनिधित्वको आवश्यक छ।

महिलाको पहिचान र अस्तित्व विविध छ तेस्रोलिङ्गी महिला, ट्रान्सजेन्डर महिला, समलिङ्गी (Le***an) महिला, Bisexual महिला, Non-Binary व्यक्तिहरू सबैलाई समान सम्मान, समान सुरक्षा र समान अधिकार आवश्यक छ।
