The 3rd Habitat Innovation Conclave 2024 jointly organized by the Global Sanitation Graduate School at Kathmandu University and the Directorate of Research and Extension at Agriculture and Forestry University in Bharatpur was a grand success, thanks to the incredible support from our partners, volunteers, participants, and team members! Huge thanks to our sponsors, local government, government agencies, INGOs, industries, and academic institutions for their generous contributions.
We proudly announce the adoption of the 17-point Bharatpur Declaration and look forward to organizing the 4th Conclave in Pokhara in 2025. Together, we continue building a sustainable future.

We are excited to share news to introduce Nepal Research and Education Network (NREN) as one of our partners for the 3rd edition of Habitat Innovation Conclave 2024. The event is jointly organized by the Global Sanitation Graduate School (GSGS) at Kathmandu University, and the Directorate of Research and Extension (DoREX), at Agriculture and Forestry University. The Conclave will be held on September 16-17, 2024 (Bhadra 31 - Ashwin 1, 2081) at Hotel Siraichuli, Bharatpur, Chitwan, Nepal.
Key Dates:
Conclave Registration: 1st September, 2024 onwards
(Paper and Poster) Presentation Submission: 10th September, 2024
Conclave Date: 16th and 17th September, 2024

Introducing Our Expert Keynote Speaker for the 3rd Habitat Innovation Conclave 2024!
As we approach the signature event of HIC 2024, it is our great pleasure to introduce, Mr. Ashutosh Tiwari, who is an entrepreneur and social activist as our Keynote Speaker for the 3rd Habitat Innovation Conclave 2024. He has made a significant impact by helping free bounded tharu laborers in Nepal. Known for co-founding Entrepreneurs for Nepal (E4N) and his pivotal role in freeing bonded Tharu laborers, Mr. Tiwari has also led impactful initiatives as CEO of Himal Media and Country Director of WaterAid Nepal. Honored as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2011, he brings a wealth of experience in leadership and social change. We look forward to his contributions and insights.
