🫁 PROJECT AAROGYA YATRA | TUBERCULOSIS (TB) AWARENESS VIDEO

Ending TB Through Awareness & Early Action. 💙

Tuberculosis (TB) is a preventable and curable infectious disease that primarily affects the lungs. It spreads through the air when a person with active pulmonary TB coughs, sneezes, speaks, or sings.

Through Project Aarogya Yatra, the Rotaract Club of Kathmandu University presents a TB Awareness Video to promote awareness, encourage early diagnosis, reduce stigma, and help communities take action against TB.

📌 Know the Warning Signs
• Persistent cough lasting 2 weeks or more
• Coughing up blood or sputum
• Fever and night sweats
• Unexplained weight loss
• Loss of appetite
• Fatigue and weakness
• Chest pain or difficulty breathing

🛡️ Prevention Starts With Awareness
• Seek medical attention for a persistent cough
• Get tested when TB is suspected
• Follow prescribed treatment properly
• Maintain good ventilation and respiratory hygiene
• Avoid stigma and support people undergoing treatment
• Encourage early diagnosis and treatment

💊 Treatment & Care
TB is curable with appropriate anti-TB medicines taken exactly as prescribed by healthcare professionals. Completing the full course of treatment is essential—even when symptoms improve.

❤️ Recognize the symptoms. Get tested early. Complete the treatment. Stop the spread.

✨ Happy Naag Panchami! ✨🐍

Naag Panchami Vrata is an ancient Hindu tradition observed on the fifth day (Panchami) of the bright fortnight (Shukla paksha) of the month of Shrawan. Rooted in the longstanding reverence for Naag (serpent deities), the vrata is associated with prayers for protection, prosperity, and harmony with nature. Over generations, the tradition has become an important part of the cultural and spiritual heritage of Nepal and the wider Hindu community.
