Nangsal Association Nepal (NAN) is a non profit-making social organization established in 2006 with the initiation of youth social activist who are involving in the sector of educational development. The organization registered at district administrative office Kavrepalanchok under the organization registration act 2034 of Government of Nepal. It has its affiliation with SWC, NGO Federation, DCCSO
Kavre and NCPA. NAN is working in Kavre district since 6 years on the sector of child right and education as a partner of DEO, DDC, DCWB, Save the Children and We World onlus. In the beginning, Nangsal had its involvement with the school as a zone of peace campaign, child club training and mobilization, radio program on the issue of children and education and life skill training etc in a small scale with the partnership of DEO and DDC. Nangshal is well known as a leading organization in the sector of education and child right in kavre. Recently, Nangshal has been working in 35 VDCs and three municipalities of kavre with different project such as Child sensitive social protection project, early literacy and math in ECD, quality learning environment improvement project, Education in emergency with the support of Save the Children and We World onlus. Through the different project, varies achievements have been achieved in the project area such as net enrollment rate has been increased in primary level education, child friendly learning environment have been created at schools, social protection allowance distribution system has been strengthened in 35 VDCs of kavre so on. Nangshal Association is going ahead with certain vision, mission, goal and objectives Its mission is to create the healthy and safety net environment including quality of education through enhancement the livelihood of poor and marginalized community by increasing their access in resources provided by government. Nangshal is a member based organization it has 223 general members and Executive board as governing body of the organization with 9 members.
