On the ocassion of World Tourism Day Leo Club of Dharan Buddhasubba hiked all the way from janaki chowk to chindey danda to bishnupaduka. Bishnupaduka Temple is a sacred Hindu pilgrimage site located about 12 kilometers northwest of Dharan in Nepal, famous for a rock bearing the holy footprints of Lord Vishnu.Located in the outskirts of Dharan ,Bishnupaduka is a hidden gem of Dharan which needs recognition. The aim of program was promoting tourism, exploring local natural beauty, and encouraging healthy and active lifestyles among young people.The program was conducted with the message “Visit Nepal, Visit Dharan”, encouraging participants to explore local destinations and share their beauty with others

Program Title: The Giving Wardrobe

Our closets hold clothes which are good to keep us warm but we no longer wear it. The giving wardrobe is a program organized by leo Club of Dharan Budhasubba where we collect the clothes that is still present in our wardobe but gets no person to wear it. We collect the clothes,sort it out and donate the clothes that can be reused to the needy people. On this episode we donated the clothes to luga ghar of Chattachowk where the needy could come and take the clothes according to their preferences.

Theme: Flood relief material collection and distribution

As a final act of Thank you we would like to extend our gratitude to all of you who directly or indirectly contributed to make it happen. Under the guidance of Leo District Council 325 C Nepal , on August 31 2026 Leo Club of Dharan Budhasubba set on a mission to collect relief material for families affected by devastating flood.The journey wasn't easy. We tried our best to circulate the message and collect as much donation as possible for which our content creators all united and made it possible. We were thrilled that Dharan didn't disappoint us and our collection centre were flooded with goods to be donated. Special thank you to every member of Vijaypur Higher Secondary School, Dharan. The clothing Centre like N.D. collection also helped us by donating clothes. It may be impossible to list out all the names but we are truly grateful to all the people who united together and trusted us to make it happen.

The goods were thoroughly checked, packaged and departed to kathmandu where our Past District president Ram chandra Chapagain carried the responsibility of going to Rasuwa and distributing the items himself along with his team. After a long process it reached Rasuwa and was distributed to the family on September 18 and 19.

Also we would like to extend our thank you to Leo district Council 325 C. Special Thank you to our District President Leo Lion Prabesh Bastakoti and District secretary Leo Shuvam Shakya for making it possible.

Thank you to everyone who made it happen.

Under the Area 5 team, all the leo clubs and Lions Club of Dharan gathered together to pay condolences to the people who lost their life due to tragic flood of Rasuwa. We pay tribute to the departed and pray that their soul rest in peace.
We stand with the family in time of deep crisis.

Date: August 22 2026 and August 23 2026

Under the leadership and guidance of Leo District Council 325 C Nepal , Leo Club of Dharan Budhasubba , Leo Club of Dharan Vijayapur and Leo Club Of Dantakali Dharan successfully hosted the president meet which was held in Hotel Star purbi, Dharan. It was a two day program which included an incredible opportunity to learn about Roberts rule of order.Similarly different training session were held followed by a fellowship program, live music, fun games and Temple visits. Presidents from different clubs had participated in the program along with district team.

Leo Club of Dharan Budhasubba participated actively in the program and our president was awarded with a pin for most active participant among female category. We were also awarded with certification of appreciation as host club.

Theme: Radha Krishna Rath Yatra Refreshment Seva

As part of the Radha Krishna Rath Yatra, a Refreshment Seva was organized for devotees, volunteers, and participants of the Rath Yatra. Refreshments such as drinking water, lemonade and buttermilk were distributed with devotion and care.

Total Beneficiaries: 150
Volunteers Involved: 10

The seva was carried out smoothly, with volunteers ensuring proper distribution, cleanliness, and timely service throughout the Yatra.

Leo Club of Dharan Budhasubba Successfully attended the 5th District Installation , 1st Council Meeting and Award Ceremony organized by Leo District Council 325 C Nepal . The council meeting addressed the queries of councillor and served as a platform to discuss plans of district for the whole tenure. In the district installation our IPP and Past president were installed as Club extension Chief and Emergency Relief Chief of Leo district Council 325 C Nepal. Our IPP was also awarded with Impact President of the year by our IPDP Leo Lion Manoj Tiwari. Also our board of direct Leo Sadik Ansari was awarded for his contribution in blood as unsung hero of the district.
