On 28th May , 2026

PSRN SC BPKIHS in association with KHDC Nepal, organised a Free health screening camp "May Measurement Month", at Ghantaghar Bhanu Chowk , Dharan.

A total of three PSRN students and three non PSRN volunteer students along with a doctor from KHDC Nepal volunteered for the screening activities.The program started at 7:00 AM till 9:30 AM . The program included measurement of blood pressure, blood sugar levels,Body Mass Index (BMI), patient counseling, and referral of high-risk individuals to appropriate healthcare facilities.

A total of 29 participants were screened during the session. Among them, the majority were already known cases of hypertension and diabetes and were under ongoing medication. In addition, 7 new cases of hypertension and 3 case of elevated blood sugar level were identified during the screening.

All participants received appropriate counseling regarding lifestyle and diet modification, medication adherence, further investigations to be done, and the importance of regular follow-up. High-risk individuals were referred to the hospital for further evaluation and management.

The program continues to play a significant role in early detection, awareness, and prevention of non-communicable diseases within the community.

PSRN SC BPKIHS in association with KHDC Nepal, organised a Free health screening camp "May Measurement Month", at Ghantaghar Bhanu Chowk , Dharan.

A total of three PSRN students and three non PSRN volunteer students along with a doctor from KHDC Nepal volunteered for the screening activities.The program started at 7:00 AM till 10:30 AM . A total of 45 participants were screened during the session. Among them, the majority were already known cases of hypertension and diabetes and were under ongoing medication. In addition, 3 new cases of hypertension and 5 case of elevated blood sugar level were identified during the screening.

All participants received appropriate counseling regarding lifestyle and diet modification, medication adherence, further investigations to be done, and the importance of regular follow-up. High-risk individuals were referred to the hospital for further evaluation and management.

A total of seven PSRN Student volunteers students along with a doctor from KHDC Nepal volunteered for the screening activities.The program started at 7:00 A.M till 10:00 AM . The program included measurement of blood pressure, blood sugar levels,Body Mass Index (BMI), patient counseling, and referral of high-risk individuals to appropriate healthcare facilities.

A total of 33 participants were screened during the session. Among them, 8 were found to have raised blood pressure and 6 of them were found to have raised random blood sugar levels.

All participants received appropriate counseling regarding lifestyle and diet modification, medication adherence, further investigations to be done, and the importance of regular follow-up. High-risk individuals were referred to the hospital for further evaluation and management.

The program continues to play a significant role in early detection, awareness, and prevention of non-communicable diseases within the community.

A total of 46 participants were screened during the session. Among them, 9 were found to have raised blood pressure and 9 of them were found to have raised random blood sugar levels.

All participants received appropriate counseling regarding lifestyle and diet modification, medication adherence, further investigations to be done, and the importance of regular follow-up. High-risk individuals were referred to the hospital for further evaluation and management.
