On 4th September 2026, on the auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, PSRN Student Chapter, BPKIHS, conducted a health camp at ISKCON from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with the primary objective of providing basic health screening and raising awareness regarding common non-communicable diseases.

A total of 264 patients attended the health camp and underwent health screening. Among them, 31 patients were identified with hypertension (HTN) and 16 patients were identified with diabetes mellitus (DM). The findings highlighted the importance of regular health screening and early detection of common non-communicable diseases.

The camp provided an opportunity for early identification of individuals with hypertension and diabetes mellitus and helped promote awareness regarding regular health check-ups, healthy lifestyle practices, and prevention of non-communicable diseases.

The camp concluded successfully with active participation and support from the team. Special thanks to all the volunteers for their valuable time, dedication, and contribution toward the successful completion of the health camp.

On 27th August 2026, PSRN SC BPKIHS, in association with Jay Media Management, conducted a Basic First Aid and Dental Education Program for the participants of Miss Little Koshi at Central Mall, Biratnagar. The program was organized with the primary objective of providing children with basic health education, essential first aid knowledge, and awareness regarding proper oral hygiene practices.

The team of total 8 students gathered at the designated meeting point at 1:00 PM and arranged transportation to Biratnagar. The team reached Central Mall at 2:30 PM, where the event was scheduled to take place. After arranging the necessary materials and setting up the session, the program formally begin at 3:00 PM.

The target group consisted of 14 participants of Miss Little Koshi, ranging in age from 5 to 13 years. Considering the young age of the participants, the session was designed to be simple, interactive, and engaging, with an emphasis on practical learning and active participation.

The program was divided into two major sections. The first section focused on basic health education and first aid practices. The participants were introduced to essential concepts related to first aid and were guided on how to respond appropriately to common minor injuries and health-related situations.
The second section focused on dental education and oral hygiene. The participants were taught about the importance of maintaining good oral health, proper brushing techniques, and other essential practices for maintaining healthy teeth and gums.

Despite the young age of the participants, the children were highly enthusiastic and actively engaged throughout the program. They raised their hands, answered questions, participated in discussions, and even attempted to summarize the information shared during the sessions. Their active involvement made the program highly interactive and created an encouraging environment for learning.

The program provided an opportunity for the participants to gain a knowledge about basic first aid and oral hygiene in a child-friendly and engaging manner. The enthusiastic participation of the children also contributed significantly to the overall success of the session.
The program concluded at 5:00 PM.
