2. Provide basic health care services to everyone in project communities and ensure that under-served and marginalized members of the community have access to health
3. Reduce the number of children with malnutrition and increase the number of children who complete high school
4. Improve safe drinking water and make provision of proper sanitation for the people in rural communities
5. Ensure that all pregnant women deliver in a health care facility or with a trained professional with at least 4 prenatal visits with the goal of improving the status of maternal and child health in the communities
6. Establish a mechanism to ensure universal access to health care to promote the concept of health as a human right

The HFN NCD Team recently presented our research posters at the 12th National Summit of Health and Population Scientists in Nepal (NHRC). Under the theme of "Health Research Governance for Evidence-Informed Decision Making," the team shared findings from two key studies:
1. Addressing NCDs in Rural Nepal: Preliminary findings from a prospective epidemiological and implementation study.
2. Prevalence of Diabetes Mellitus: Associated factors and findings from the NCD Nepal study.
