Improving Birgunj Club (IBC) is an association of local youths of Birgunj envisioned to carry action against social issues and advocate for change.

The Roti Bank project, operated by Improving Birgunj, has been continuously providing free meals to those in need for the past 3 years.

Our mission is not just to distribute food, but to spread hope and humanity by fighting hunger. 🙏

🙏 If you have leftover food from your home, weddings, parties, or any social events, please don’t let it go to waste.

Heartfelt thanks to Mr. Manoj Sethia for his generous support. Last night, we received a call from him informing us that there was a large amount of leftover food after an event. Our team quickly reached the location, collected the food, and ensured it was distributed to people in need instead of going to waste.

Moments like these remind us how small acts of responsibility can create a big impact in our community. We are truly grateful for your thoughtfulness and willingness to support the mission of Roti Bank.

A special thanks as well to Mr. Naresh Bhansali our project lead of Roti Bank for the smooth coordination and ensuring the entire process—from collection to distribution—was carried out efficiently.

Together, we can make sure that good food reaches hungry stomachs rather than ending up as waste. Thank you for being part of this meaningful effort.

We are excited to announce that Improving Birgunj is opening applications for dedicated interns who want to work for real social impact and community development.

If you are passionate about creating change and want to gain real field experience, this is your opportunity to work with us on impactful initiatives such as Roti Bank, Community Kitchen, Awareness Programs, Food Distribution, and many more humanitarian projects.

This internship will give you the chance to learn teamwork, leadership, project management, and community service while directly contributing to meaningful work that helps people in need.

As Nepal takes the field for their first match, Improving Birgunj proudly launches an initiative where every boundary brings hope to underprivileged children.

For every 4️⃣ or 6️⃣ hit by Aasif Sheikh & Aarif Sheikh, we’ll provide 1 stationery kit 📚✏️ to a child in need. This World Cup, runs aren’t just numbers—they’re smiles, dreams, and opportunities for young hearts across Nepal.

As Nepal prepares for the upcoming elections, the political atmosphere is growing louder with speeches, strategies, and promises. Leaders are busy with power equations, campaigns, and debates about the future. But amid all this political activity, there is a reality that remains unchanged—hunger does not wait for elections to end.

While politics takes center stage, we, the youths, choose service over slogans. Day after day, the Roti Bank initiative continues, ensuring that hungry and poor people are fed, that those sleeping on the streets are not forgotten, and that dignity is served along with every meal.

For us, this is not about politics or publicity. This is about responsibility. This is about humanity. When systems move slowly, compassion must move faster. When attention shifts elsewhere, service must remain consistent.

The youth of today believe that real change is not only promised on stages but practiced on the streets. As long as there are empty stomachs, our work will not stop. Elections may come and go, governments may change—but our commitment to feeding the hungry will remain strong.

Roti Bank will continue.
Because service is our duty.
Because humanity is our politics.

Improving Birgunj Brings Hope Through Education on Saraswati Puja!!

On the auspicious occasion of Saraswati Puja, the team of Improving Birgunj successfully carried out a meaningful educational support program in Manihari Village.

With the belief that no child should be deprived of proper education, the team distributed study materials to more than 100 underprivileged children, ensuring that every child received the basic tools needed for learning.

The donation included essential stationery items aimed at motivating children and encouraging them to continue their educational journey. This initiative was especially focused on children who are often left behind due to lack of resources and opportunities.

By reaching Manihari Village on this sacred day dedicated to knowledge and wisdom, Improving Birgunj reaffirmed its commitment to building a future where education is accessible to all. The smiles on the faces of the children reflected the true spirit of Saraswati Puja
Spreading knowledge, hope, and equal opportunity.
