Today, our president didn’t want to simply say “thank you.” She wanted everyone to *experience* gratitude.
So instead of a formal farewell, She created "The Gratitude Circle”—a space where appreciation became an activity, memories became conversations, and every smile added another ripple to the circle.
Our journey began with “One Year in One Breath,” a simple reflection on everything we achieved together in one year. Then the fun truly unfolded through our interactive stations:
"Clean Action Station" – where members pledged one small habit they would change for a cleaner tomorrow and carried home a car bin as a reminder that every clean car is a small act of Rotary in motion.
"Stories That Feed Us" – where cookbooks sparked conversations and everyone shared the “recipe” or secret ingredient that best described their Rotary year.
"Circle of Identity" – a reminder that we don’t just belong to Rotary; we carry its values with us, along with thoughtful keepsakes to treasure. A pair of Rotary Wheel Earrings for each one of us .
"Wall of Thanks" – perhaps the most touching corner of all, where notes of gratitude, cherished memories, and heartfelt acknowledgements quietly filled the board, one sticky note at a time.
And finally, each member took home “The Ripple Kit”—a Silk cloth Rotary logo printed bag with a plant, carrying the message:
“What we grow next depends on what we plant today.”
The evening was filled with laughter, reflection, photos, conversations, and genuine engagement. It reminded me that the true strength of any club lies not only in the projects it completes, but in the people who stand behind them with generosity, friendship, and purpose.
❤️ One year. Many hands. One impact. And a circle of gratitude that will continue to grow long after today.
