यो तस्बिर हेर्दा बेत्रावती बजारले एकैछिनमा भोगेको विनाशभन्दा पनि, यहाँ रहेका घरभित्रका जीवनहरू सम्झिन मन लाग्छ। 😔
तर यो तस्बिरमा देखिएका घरहरूभित्र कति परिवारका ओछ्यान थिए होलान्, कति बालबालिकाका किताब कापी थिए होलान्, कति पसलमा वर्षौंको कमाइ थियो होला? आज त्यही ठाउँमा फर्केर आफ्नो घरको भग्नावशेष हेर्दा उनीहरूका लागि त्यो घर मात्र होइन, वर्षौंको सम्झना र जीवन नै हराएजस्तो भएको होला।
बाढीले भत्काएका संरचना फेरि बनाउन सकिएला, तर गुमेका जीवन र परिवारले भोगेको पीडा कसरी फर्काउन सकिएला? 🙏

Looking at this photo, rather than thinking only about the destruction that Betrawati Bazaar suffered in such a short time, I feel like remembering the lives that once existed inside these homes. 😔
But how many families must have had their beds inside those houses? How many children’s books and notebooks must have been there? How many shops may have held years of hard-earned savings? Today, look at the ruins of their homes, it must feel as though they have lost not just a house, but years of memories and a part of their lives.
The structures destroyed by the flood may be rebuilt, but how can the lives that were lost and the pain endured by those families ever be brought back? 🙏
