In a place where animal-based meals are the norm at health camps, we had the incredible opportunity to introduce something different, compassion on a plate.
During the Student Health Examination, Stationery, and Lunch Distribution Program, organized by FYACE, we got an incredible opportunity to serve over 250 people, students, faculty, and team members, a hearty, plant-based meal including beaten rice, soybean chhhoila and curry of peas.
From health checkups to sanitation education and stationery distribution, everything was rooted in care. And the meal was fully vegan with students learning not just how to take care of their bodies, but how their food choices can make a difference too.
