I valori dei campi di volontariato internazionale: un’esperienza che trasforma
Partecipare a un campo di volontariato internazionale significa vivere un’esperienza in cui ogni giornata diventa crescita personale e collettiva. Non si tratta solo di attività pratiche, ma di un percorso fatto di relazioni, confronto e apprendimento condiviso.

Nei campi di SCI Italia i valori non restano sulla carta: si vivono ogni giorno attraverso la convivenza e il lavoro comune.

💡 Pace e nonviolenza, partecipazione attiva, apprendimento non formale, interculturalità, sostenibilità, cooperazione, empatia, adattabilità, giustizia sociale e creatività: sono questi i principi che guidano ogni esperienza e la rendono unica.

Vivere un campo significa mettersi in gioco, ascoltare, collaborare e scoprire nuovi modi di stare nel mondo insieme agli altri.

SCI Nepal Bhaktapur volunteers actively participated in Election Observation on 21 Falgun 2082 (5 March 2026). Our team visited several polling centers, spoke with booth commissioners, and observed the overall election situation.

Volunteers also supported elderly and physically weak voters by assisting them with wheelchairs to reach the polling booths. In addition, we helped voters safely keep their personal belongings (mobile phones, smart watches, keys, pens, lighters, etc.) which were not allowed inside the polling centers and we also provided drinking water to voters and election staff at the polling centers to support them during the election process.

We are proud to contribute to a peaceful, inclusive, and accessible democratic process through volunteer service. 🇳🇵✌️
