Violence againsts girls is rising, and social inequalities are deepening. But what does the general public actually think about it ?? We interviewed everyday people to get their raw, unfiltered perspectives on the social crises impacting our communities. They didn't just share their perspectives -they offered real,community-driven solutions to end this violence. 🤝

Amnesty International Paklihawa Youth Network successfully participated in the 18th youth mela held in Pokhara .
Thank you for this wonderful opportunity Amnesty Internatinal Nepal🙏❤️🔥🤩
We’ve just wrapped up three powerful days of learning, reflection, and action with young Amnesty members from across Nepal .
Guided by the theme “Climate Justice and Civic Freedom: The Youth Agenda for a Just Future,” this year’s Mela created space for critical conversations on the climate crisis, shrinking civic space, digital rights, LGBTQI+ rights, and Nepal’s evolving human rights landscape.
From inspiring keynote addresses by lexlimbu and Monisha Chaudhary to deeply moving conversations with Surendra Khatri on the human cost of Nepal’s armed conflict, Digital Rights Nepal on digital safety, especially gender discrimination in online spaces, and Pratik Thapa on challenging LGBT+ myths, each session reminded us why youth voices matter now more than ever.

💛Street drama unfolds as a powerful voice against violence and r**e faced by girls.
This street becomes a stage where silence is broken and truth is spoken.
Every act reflects the pain, courage, and reality too many endure.
We refuse to look away—we choose to stand, speak, and demand justice.
Let this performance spark awareness, empathy, and action.
Because every girl deserves safety, dignity, and respect.🙏🏻🤝

💛On this Labour Day, Amnesty International Paklihawa Youth Network took to the streets with courage and conviction.
We marched not just for workers, but for justice, dignity, and equality.
Every step we took was a stand against exploitation and silence.
We believe labour is power and power must be respected.
Our voices rose for those unheard, unseen, and undervalued.
This rally was more than an event; it was a movement for change.🤝💥

Amnesty International Paklihawa Youth Network stands for peace, justice, and dignity for all beings.
May Buddha’s light guide us toward compassion,
May every worker’s labour be honored with fair rights,
And may Ubhauli remind us of our bond with nature and community.
Let us celebrate unity in diversity,
Human rights, and the spirit of collective belonging.
शान्ति, समानता, अधिकार
Peace, Equality, Rights.
