B.I.A Institute extends its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Dhiraj Kumar Agrawal, Chairman of Ten Groups, and his brother Mr. Abhishek Kumar Agrawal for their generous donation of NPR 100,000 made today in memory of the first anniversary of the passing of their beloved father, Late Mr. Anil Kumar Agrawal. Despite living with a physical disability, Late Mr. Agrawal dedicated his life to philanthropy and touched countless lives through his compassion, generosity, and service to society. This meaningful contribution is a beautiful tribute that carries forward his legacy of kindness and support for persons with disabilities. On behalf of the entire B.I.A Institute family, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Agrawal family and pray that the soul of Late Mr. Anil Kumar Agrawal rests in eternal peace. We sincerely thank Mr. Dhiraj Agrawal and Mr. Abhishek Agrawal for standing with our mission and for honoring their father’s remarkable legacy through this noble act of giving.

Our students at BIA Institute took the initiative to organize a heartfelt Teachers’ Day celebration, honoring the mentors who have guided and inspired them throughout their journey.

Seeing our students voluntarily come together to express their gratitude and respect for their teachers was truly heartwarming. This beautiful gesture reflects the strong bond, mutual respect, and sense of family that exists between our students, teachers, and the entire BIA community.

A sincere thank you to all our students for making this celebration so meaningful. Your appreciation and kindness inspire us to continue working together toward a more inclusive, compassionate, and empowering future. Happy Teachers’ Day to all our dedicated teachers!

BIA Institute proudly celebrated its 6th Anniversary with a vibrant cultural program featuring inspiring wheelchair dance performances, singing, and other artistic presentations by talented persons with disabilities. The celebration reflected the creativity, determination, and resilience of our community.

The program was chaired by BIA Institute Secretary Mr. Nawang Chhiri Sherpa, with Hon. Deepak Rijal, Mayor of Gokarneshwor Municipality, as the Chief Guest. We were also honored by the presence of Special Guests Ms. San Nani Lama, Deputy Mayor of Gokarneshwor Municipality, renowned singer Durgesh Thapa, Ward No. 6 Chair Mr. Nawaraj Lama, former Miss Nepal Shreshya Pradhan, and many other distinguished guests.

A special highlight of the celebration was the presentation of certificates to students who successfully completed their vocational training, recognizing their hard work and achievements. We were also delighted to honor Ms. Sangmo Gurung as BIA Institute’s Staff of the Year for her outstanding dedication and service. In addition, B.P. Eye Trust received a Special Recognition Award for its generous support in organizing free eye health camps for our beneficiaries every six months.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our performers with disabilities, trainees, staff, volunteers, partners, supporters, media representatives, and every guest who joined us in celebrating this meaningful milestone. Your encouragement and partnership continue to strengthen our mission of empowering persons with disabilities and creating greater opportunities across Nepal.

Today, BIA Institute proudly organized the Para-Cycling Demonstration and Inauguration Event, bringing together athletes, U.S. Government exchange alumni, partners, and distinguished guests to celebrate the transformative power of adaptive sports in creating opportunities, building confidence, and strengthening communities.

The event marked the arrival of 35 adaptive sports chairs and specialized equipment, including tandem cycles, basketball wheelchairs, rugby chairs, hand cycles, and other adaptive sports equipment. This important milestone expands opportunities for athletes with disabilities and further strengthens Nepal’s adaptive sports ecosystem.

The program was chaired by Chairman and Founder of BIA Institute, Chogyal Rinpoche, who, in his concluding remarks, expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone whose dedication and collaboration made this achievement possible. He reaffirmed BIA Institute’s commitment to promoting adaptive sports and creating equal opportunities for persons with disabilities across Nepal.

During the program, Executive Director Gokarna Dhungana shared the inspiring journey of how this initiative became a reality and extended special thanks to Inclusive Cycling International, California, whose partnership and support made it possible to bring these life-changing adaptive sports chairs and equipment to Nepal. He also appreciated the continued encouragement of the U.S. Embassy in Nepal, the Government of Nepal, and all partners who contributed to this shared vision.

Day 7 – Closing Day of BIA Handicraft Pancha Pranali Exhibition 2026

As we conclude this year’s exhibition, we were delighted to welcome visitors who came to experience and support the creativity and talents of our artists.

The day featured an interactive closing session where BIA members came together to connect, share their experiences, and reflect on the journey of the exhibition. It was a meaningful opportunity to celebrate achievements, exchange thoughts, and strengthen our community.

A special Token of Love was presented to Srichchha Pradhan (Miss Nepal 2023 / Founder - Deego Pranali) in appreciation of her engagement and support throughout this year’s exhibition. We are especially grateful for her introduction of the Pancha Pranali theme, which brought a unique and meaningful dimension to this year’s celebration.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited the exhibition, our talented artists and trainees, our dedicated staff, partners, supporters, and all those who contributed to making this event a success.

As one chapter closes, we look forward to the future with renewed inspiration and a commitment to making each exhibition even more impactful than the last.

🌱 Day 5 – Earth Day Special 🌱

As part of BIA Handicraft Pancha Pranali 2026, we celebrated Earth Day with a plantation program conducted under the guidance of Regen Pranali.

Participants planted fruit trees, mint saplings, and seasonal vegetables, reflecting our connection with the Earth element and the importance of nurturing life, sustainability, and wellbeing.

We were also delighted to welcome visitors who came to explore the exhibition, appreciate the creativity of artists with disabilities, and engage with the various handicrafts, artworks, and initiatives on display.

🌊 Day 4 – Water Day Special | Self-Awareness & Emotional Wellbeing 🌊
Today at the BIA Handicraft Pancha Pranali Exhibition 2026, we hosted an inspiring panel discussion on Self-Awareness & Emotional Wellbeing, creating a space for meaningful conversations on emotional health, resilience, and personal growth.
We were honored to hear valuable insights from our distinguished panelists, Rashmita Tamang psychologist from CMC Nepal and Subigya Sigdel. The session was thoughtfully moderated by Aashna Subedi.
A token of love was presented to our panelists by Srichchha Pradhan, Miss Nepal 2023, in appreciation of their time, wisdom, and contribution to the discussion.

Day 4 of the Exhibition – Space Day 🌀

Today was another wonderful day at the exhibition as we celebrated Space Daywith a therapeutic musical session led by MAITRI Music Therapy Nepal. The session was engaging, uplifting, and thoroughly enjoyed by all the participants.

We were also delighted to welcome visitors throughout the day, who explored the exhibition and showed great interest in our displays and activities.

A special highlight was the visit of His Excellency Mr. Rob Fenn, Australia's Ambassador to Nepal, and his wife, who took time to experience the exhibition and interact with the team.

The excitement continues—there are still 3 more days left! We warmly invite everyone to visit the exhibition, experience the activities, and support this meaningful initiative.
