NGMC HOPES- (HELP OF PATIENTS IN EXIGENCY BY STUDENTS)

This is a non-profitable, non-governmental, non- political patient welfare organization run by the students of NGMC with sole aim of helping the under privileged patients of NGMCTH by providing them financial help, other medical facilities as well as conduction of various P
ublic awareness programs. This organization performs its activities by coordination of Interns, Resident Doctors, Consultant Doctors and Students of NGMC. Funds are collected through some percentage of stipened of interns that they get at the end of every month &fixed donations from student who get admitted in Ist year MBBS in NGMC. It will also aim to get donations from Resident doctors and Consultant doctors. All resident doctors have to work as advisor for this organization. Those patients who are unable to affoard their treatment just because they don’t have money will be funded in this programme If a patient is important academically to Residents, Interns & students and those patient can’t afford for investigations & medications will be given priority as well. Interference from Worker union will not be accepted in prioritization & selection of patients. AIMS
To provide free , comprehensive health care services and education to people in underserved families and less privileged communities. To expose and motivate medical students in social enterpreneurship so that individual will pursue an innovative idea with the potential to solve individual, family or community problem. Our goal is to make pt. feel loved and cared for in addition to providing support for their loved ones. As volunteers we also seek to strengththen our own growing faiths with every community visits. To enhance knowledge of Health related issues by cohort relationship between young generations of various fields. OBJECTIVES
To give financial help to poor , less priveledged patients. Conduction of frequent blood donation programme
Special provison for Endemic & seasonal diseases
Conduction of health camps regularly and creation of proper referral system to our teaching hospital
Diagnostic programmes will be conducted as per need. Conduction of frequent Awareness programmes for
AIDS - RHD
Diabetes - COPD
Geriatric medicine - Drug abuse
Risk taking in youth - Sickle cell anaemia
- Proper correlation with local authorities & other organization for proper health care system.
