Introduction
Banepa Green Initiatives, formally knows as Banepa Batawaran Abhiyan Samuha was formed in 2011 by a group of businessmen and women, and like-minded people in an effort to make our town of Banepa greener. In this rapidly growing economic hub, while population and urbanization are exponentially increasing, green patches of land are shrinking at alarming rates everyday. Since its establishment, BBAS has planted over 2,300 trees in and around the town, mostly along main streets and in communal public places. We believe trees are important not only for the environment but also for the overall goodness and happiness of our society.
