BBP PARIWAR is a non-profit voluntary organization registered with the District Administration Office and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council. Since 1994 AD (2051 BS), it has been running various types of social development programs in four districts: Sindhupalchok, Ramechhap, Sindhuli, and Kavrepalanchok. BP Pariwar mobilizes local resources in the areas of health, education, agriculture, animal husbandry, herbs, forest conservation, drinking water, and the development of local infrastructure with the participation of disadvantaged, marginalized, and at-risk communities in the society. The organization also serves as a roof organization to help its three member organizations maximize productivity. The member organizations include Samaj Sewa Samuha-Kavrepalanchok, Nauling Health Service Centre-Sindhupalchok, SIDS Nepal (Sindhuli Integrated Development Services, Nepal)-Sindhuli and Bajra Samaj Nepal-Ramechhap. BBP Pariwar has been carrying out social service activities both independently and as part of the organizational network. Since 1994, it has been implementing various programs and activities to support poor and marginalized women and men in becoming self-sufficient by through various capacity building activities. BBP Pariwar’s activities focus on reproductive health, women empowerment, savings and credit group program, non-formal and formal education, community-based natural resources management, and community development activities such as drinking water, micro-irrigation, and so on.
