🌅 Experience joy, nature, community & personal growth through inclusive activities 🏕️🏔️🥾🛶

IN ENGLISH:

RE:ACT is a youth organization working for a more fair and sustainable world. We think that global problems, such as wars, conflicts, climate changes etc., influence human beings’ rights, opportunities and how they are being treated – which in turn can cause other global problems, such as discrimination, poverty and lack of education. We in RE:ACT Volda wants to do something about these challenges here we are, here in Volda, by creating arenas for change. We believe that a small group of people, even individuals, can make worldwide changes. Through cultural meetings between people from different countries and cultures we can learn more about one another and where we come from – which in turn will lead to a bigger cultural understanding and less prejudice. We also learn more about what is actually happening in the world by meeting people from other parts of the world. In Volda we have several activities with asylum seekers and refugees, such as school tutoring for children, swim classes for women, cooking groups with international dishes, and hiking groups. We do also arrange activities that has to do with the environment, consumption and sustainability, such as sustainable dinners and exchange markets of clothes, shoes and things. If you want to hear more about us and maybe join our activities, send us a message here on Facebook or contact the leader Daria Jermacane, t: 45399348

🌍 Voices of Youth – Turning Ideas into Impact 🇳🇴

On the 1st of February, we held our first collaborative meeting with young participants as part of our upcoming youth exchange in Norway.
The aim of the session was simple but powerful: to present the project idea and truly listen.

Young people shared their thoughts, expectations, and visions, actively contributing to the shaping of the project from the very beginning. This meeting marked the start of a collaborative writing process, where youth are not just participants but co-creators, decision-makers, and leaders.

Together, we are building a space where ideas rooted in lived experiences, community needs, and shared European values can grow into meaningful, sustainable projects. This is just the first step, but an important one, towards turning youth voices into real impact.

✨ The journey has begun.

Special thanks to our partner organizations:
LAG Vallis Colapis from Croatia
Spazio Aperto from Italy
Erasmus+ Office Falken Hagen from Germany
Raices y rutas from Spain

🌿✨ Roots of Self – Finding Balance Through Nature ✨🌿

As part of our Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Think Globally, Act Locally”, our amazing Portuguese team brought their local dissemination activity to life through an inspiring initiative called Roots of Self.

Set in the peaceful mountains of northern Portugal, this outdoor experience invited participants from ESN Minho to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect, both with themselves and with nature. 🌲💚

Through reflection, gentle outdoor activities, and meaningful conversations, the team explored how self-care and environmental care are beautifully intertwined. By nurturing our inner balance, we also nurture the world around us. 🌍

While the activity left no physical traces, it made a lasting emotional impact, reminding everyone that thinking globally and acting locally begins with caring for ourselves and the spaces we inhabit. 🌞

Looking back at the summer of 2025, we are really thankful to all the people that traveled all the way to Høydal to spend time with us in the mountains⛰️⛺️🏕️

Sleeping in a tent for ten days and spending most of your time outdoors can be a challenge! 😅

Hopefully you’ve learned something new - about yourself, about nature, about companionship, inclusion, or maybe something completely different.. 💚 We hope all of you made a lot of new friends!

Nowadays, Beyond Borders and our partners are writing and planning new projects. 👩🏽‍💻👨🏽‍💻📝🗓️⌨️✍🏽We really hope that we can welcome new groups next summer, as we have done for the past six years!🤞🏽

We are also focusing a lot on arranging our local activities for refugee camps here in Sunnmøre, Norway.

Tag your friends if you see anyone you know, or if you want to join! ☺️ Hope to see you all again, or for the very first time.

"Our first dissemination was held at our sending organization, Armavir Development Center. During this meeting, we presented the project to local participants and highlighted the main topics we had explored during the exchange. We spoke about recycling practices in Norway, the advanced level they are currently at, and compared it with the situation in Armenia. Together, we discussed how Armenia could gradually reach a similar level of progress. In addition, we talked about sustainability and the importance of its global goals. The participants were highly engaged, asked many questions, and we were happy to provide answers and share our experiences.

The second part of our dissemination took place in Vanadzor, the third biggest city in Armenia. After the exchange, one of our participants, Ani, became a team leader in a youth camp that was held in nature. She was very enthusiastic to pass on the knowledge she gained during the project, especially about recycling and its importance. The participants of the camp not only listened to her presentation but also put the knowledge into practice. During their hikes, they cleaned the areas of garbage, and Ani also organized interactive games that taught them how to sort waste correctly in a fun and engaging way.

Overall, these dissemination activities helped us reach a broader audience and raise awareness about recycling, sustainability, and environmental responsibility. We are glad that through these initiatives, the outcomes of the project continue to have an impact, inspiring more young people in Armenia to think globally and act locally".
