In Balance with Nature – Long-Term Training Course (LTTC)
Are you a youth worker passionate about outdoor education, inclusion, and wellbeing?
Join an international journey to reconnect youth work with nature 🌱
We are looking for participants from Norway to join a unique long-term training course with partners from France, Hungary, Poland, Czechia, Germany, Italy, Estonia & Croatia.
✨ What is it about?
A 2-phase international training combining learning + real-life practice:
📍 TC1: Poland (Dobczyce)
🗓 27 April – 05 May 2026
Build your foundation in:
• Outdoor pedagogy & experiential learning
• Soft skills facilitation (leadership, teamwork, decision-making)
• Inclusion in the outdoors
• Sustainability & nature connection 🌍
📍 Practice Phase (June–August 2026)
• Design & implement your own local outdoor activity
• Test inclusive approaches in your community
📍 TC2: Norway (Volda)
🗓 17–25 September 2026
Focus on:
• Applying outdoor methods in youth work
• Safety & risk management
• Building sustainable outdoor programmes

🌍🕊️ Support Students from Folkestad – Easter Fundraising Lottery 🐣🎟️

Every two or three years, students from the secondary school in the village of Folkestad (Volda municipality), as part of their school program, travel by bus to Poland to visit one of the cities where N**i concentration camps operated during the Second World War. This trip has been a local tradition for many years. Teachers and parents believe it is important for young people to learn history and understand the terrible events that took place there, and also to appreciate the achievements humanity has gained after the war.

These trips are free for the students, but to make them possible the students, together with their parents and teachers, look for ways to raise funds. For example, students bake buns and cakes 🍰 or cook food and sell it at local events; they cut trees around the school and sell firewood 🪵; they look for sponsors; and so on.

🎟️ If you would like to help raise funds, one way to do so is to participate in an online Easter lottery by buying one or more lottery attempts.

It is very simple:

During this workshop, you will learn how to make traditional dumplings from scratch — from preparing the dough to filling and folding them by hand.
No experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and good mood.
After cooking, we will sit down together, enjoy the food we made, and spend a cozy evening together.
