I MORGEN kl. 16:00: Oppstart av kampanjen: med en "live webcast" fra den etiske klesbedriften "Better Living Projects"! Kampanjen skal rette blikket mot bedriftene som skaper jobber for mindre priviligerte samfunn, hvordan vi kan stå sammen og hvordan vi kan bidra.
Better Living Projects driver et sysenter i Bihar, India, hvor de har seks ansatte som lever av å sy bærekraftige produkter til Norge. Uten salg av produktene blir det derimot ingen produksjon, noe som truer bedrifter som denne under koronakrisen. Det er mange flere etiske bedrifter som er i samme situasjon, og i morgen klokken 16:00 skal Cecilie Kjeldsberg, under en "live webcast", gi deg et innblikk i hvordan vi kan stå sammen i disse koronatider, og hvilken støtte som trengs i tiden som kommer.
LIVE WEBCAST: Wednesday 4 pm: Initiating for startups that creates jobs for less privileged communities: how can we stand together and what support is needed.
The startup, Better Living, is running a sewing center with six employees in a small village called Sujata, lying in one of the poorest states in India called Bihar. These incredible women is making a living and providing for their families by stitching sustainable textile products to the Norwegian market. Without sales, there is no production. And the catch with creating jobs for less privileged communities, is that you create jobs for people who would not otherwise have a job! There are many ethical businesses in the same situation here in Norway, and on Wednesday at 4 pm Cecilie Kjeldsberg will initiate a campaign with a live webcast on our page to give you an insight into how we can stand together during this coronoa crisis, and what support is needed in the time to come.
