Ocean Events:
One of NTNU Ocean Clubs internal groups is Ocean Events. We work together with the other groups to engage students in ocean-related activities, but more focus

Ocean Experience:
Ocean Experience focuses on smaller activities and social events. Amongst other things, we arrange fishing trips, parties, dinner nights, boat trips, clean ups, smaller corporations with ocean related businesses and more! Ocean Talks:
We arrange a Ted Talk inspired seminar. We invite passionate people from all fields of science to talk about an ocean-related topic. Even if it is their own research, a project they find interesting, or just to start a discussion. Our activities are funded by our main partner NTNU Oceans and sponsor GCE Ocean Technology

Takk for en fantastisk innsats under Havaksjonen 2025!

I dag ryddet vi kysten ved Byneset – et område hardt rammet av marin forsøpling. Små plastfragmenter, flasker, tauverk, fiskeutstyr eller en hel båt ble effektivt fjernet i godt organiserte ryddegrupper.

Etter innsatsen samlet vi oss på Solsiden for velfortjente burgere – en fin avslutning på en meningsfull dag!
Stor takk til og alle som bidro. Sammen gjør vi en forskjell for havet!

🤝 Samarbeid står sentralt i alt vi gjør

I NTNU Ocean Club mener vi at samarbeid mellom studentorganisasjoner er avgjørende – og ingenting viser det bedre enn vårt pågående samarbeid med de tekniske stjernene i . Vortex og OC er to sider av samme mynt: én teknisk, én organisatorisk – men begge med hjertet dypt for havet 💙

Akkurat nå jobber vi sammen på Havaksjonen 2025 (https://projectbaseline.no/2025/03/havaksjonen-2025/) i regi av .no – et initiativ vi er stolte av å ta del i. Vi gleder oss til å lære masse, både om havet og om hvordan vi kan bygge hverandre sterkere gjennom samarbeid 🌐

🌊 Teaser for Havaksjonen 2025 – Together, We Take Responsibility for Our Ocean!

We had a pre-cleanup event in Korsvika last Saturday with . This day was filled with teamwork, dedication, and a shared passion for protecting our ocean. ♻️

Plastic pollution is one of the greatest environmental challenges of our time, and if we don’t act now, it will become the new normal. That’s why we’re launching Havaksjonen 2025, bringing together volunteers from across Trondheim to clean up beaches, remove waste from the seabed, and raise awareness about marine pollution.

On May 10th, the main cleanup event will take place, and we hope to see you there! NTNU Ocean Club together with other groups will have team leaders to ensure an organized and effective cleanup effort at Byneset.

Join this 3h guided foraging excursion where we will explore Trondheims coastline and answer those questions!

My name is Patrick Bösch and i will be your tour guide.
I am a certified Wild Edible Plants Expert and Mushroom Identification Expert and have been holding courses in Seaweed, Edible Plant and Mushroom Foraging
since 2021.

I have always been interested in the bounty that nature can offer us and I am an avid chef, trying to incorporate my harvest into my diet.
In 2022 I also started with part time harvesting of wild edible plants for a company in Trøndelag that supplies them to the top restaurants in Norway.

Last weekend we went for 2 nights and a Veddugnad to Heinfjordstua. Apart from our natural habitat we managed well in forestrian terrain to saw and chop new wood for the cabin! Besides we conquered the sauna and ice waters🧜
