I går samlet nesten 80 studenter seg i solidaritet med de kidnappede flotillaaktivistene. Vi studenter sier tydelig ifra om at NTNU kan ikke samarbeide med utdanningsinstitusjoner under et regime som kidnapper deres studenter, og bedriver et folkemord. Rektor sin uttalelse er tonedøv, sett i lys av avsløringene om hvilke forhold aktivistene utsettes for. Han bagatelliserer forbrytelsene som begås og gjør ingenting for å bistå venner og pårørende. Vi krever at NTNU gjør mer

På selveste 1. mai inviterer vi i SfP til en avslutningsfest på Antroposofisk Selskap. Ta med en venn eller to, det blir snacks og brus, men dere er velkomne til å ta med drikken dere vil. Vi skal feire slutten av et godt semester og vår gode innsats, vi gleder oss til å se deg der!
Lokalet har plass til 60stk, så trykk skal på FB hvis du kommer!

Møt opp på frimerket kl 12 på onsdag!

Vi demonstrerer på Gløshaugen under NTNUs styremøte. Mens en av NTNUs studenter er på vei mot Gaza gjør styret det tydeligere enn noen sinne at de ikke tar hensyn til studenters liv, hverken sine egne eller de i Gaza. Israels universiteter har spilt en sentral rolle i planlegging, utførelse og tilrettelegging for Israels okkupasjon og folkemord mot palestinerene. Vi nekter å gi oss fram til det blir innført en fullstendig akademisk boikott av Israel, og NTNU ikke lenger medvirker til den systematiske ødeleggelsen av palestinske utdanningsinstitusjoner, enten gjennom direkte samarbeid, eller rammeavtaler som Horisont Europa.

We will introduce basic principles of speaking and practice them through roleplay of scenarios which are relevant to activists.
There will also be a section on speech writing where you will learn about methods to use for hard - hitting appells 😊

We will guide you through poster making and video making. Through the course we will create a poster for an actual upcoming event.
Bring you PC and curiosity 😉 and you'll learn skills that are widely applicable!

Yesterday we gathered by the water to show our solidarity with the brave activists sailing from Barcelona to Gaza on the Global Sumud Flotilla. Among the participants is Magnus de Besche, a student and member of Students for Palestine. As he's sailing he wishes to lift the stories of Palestinians held hostage in Israeli prisons, such as Mona Abu Hussein, a mother, kindergarden director and a student at Birzeit University. She was arrested on January 8th, and is being held under "administrative detention" in Damon prison, which has been a place of torture and horrible degrading treatments.

This flotilla is part of a global movement, a response to our institutions failing to prevent genocide and occupation in Palestine. While our comrades are out in the ocean we are keeping up the fight at home.
We are incredibly proud of Magnus and all other participants of the flotilla, and we stand by them while they attempt to break the illegal sea blockade 🇵🇸

The course begins with information about non-violence and civil disobedience, followed by a discussion on non-violence in practice. Then we’ll go through practical information and do exercises demonstrating how civil disobedience works in real life.

March 27th we, together with over 20 other student groups across Europe, held protests against Israel's involvement in Horizon Europe.
This involvement feeds Israel’s military‑industrial complex and helps sustain a system of occupation, apartheid, and genocide.

From Madrid to Trondheim to Lisbon to Krakow to Turku to Frankfurt to Sofia, students, faculty, and community members are demanding from the European Union and our universities:
· Expel Israel from Horizon;
· Withdraw from current projects in partnership with Israeli institutions;
· Refusal to establish any new projects with Israeli institutions in the upcoming Horizon Europe Programme (2028-2034).

NTNU must follow international law, and sever their ties to Israeli universitites now.
Thank you to everyone who joined the protest, this fight will not stop until our campus is completely free of genocide and apartheid! 🇵🇸

Denne uken er Israeli Apartheid Week, en internasjonal mobiliseringsuke startet av .movement for å rette søkelys på Israels apartheidregime og undertrykking av palestinere.
I den anledning setter vi fokus på kampanjen apartheidfrie soner. Sveip for å lese hvordan vi sammen kan gjøre campus apartheidfritt!

🚨OPPSTART STUDIESIRKEL🚨
Er du interessert i å lære mer om Palestina, og temaene rundt det?
Den 21. Januar, kl 18:00 skal første møte av studiesirkelen til Studenter for Palestina holdes i Lysholmbygget på Kalvskinnet på rom LYU1.072.

Den umiddelbare planen er å begynne lese og diskutere “The Destruction of Palestine is the Destruction of Earth” av Andreas Malm.

På møtet vil det og planlegges hvor mye som skal leses mellom møtene/på møtene, og hvor ofte studiesirkelen skal møtes.

Studiesirkelen har lav terskel og ingen forutsetninger blir satt til hvor mye man har lest tidligere.

På torsdag hadde vi møte med rektor. Vi er fornøyde med hvordan vi argumenterte, men vi opplever liten vilje til reell dialog. Vi står for aksjonen vår, og vi vil fortsette å kreve at NTNU ikke skal samarbeide med våpenprodusenter som bidrar til folkemord.

Vi ser at presset vårt fungerer, men vi har likevel en jobb å gjøre. Vi ser fram til neste semester sammen med alle dere 🇵🇸
