🇹🇷 Final FutureCraft Transnational Project Meeting | İzmir

A final meeting. A shared journey. A future to carry forward. 🌍

On 12 September 2026, the FutureCraft partnership came together in İzmir, Türkiye, for the final Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) of the FutureCraft: Empowering Visionaries for Tomorrow's Dynamic Landscape project.

The final meeting brought together representatives of the partner organisations to reflect on the project journey, review the work carried out throughout the project and discuss the final stages of cooperation and dissemination.

Throughout FutureCraft, partners from Türkiye, Finland, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Norway worked together to explore future literacy, strategic foresight, entrepreneurship and future-oriented approaches.

From the first online kick-off meeting, through international training activities in Türkiye and Finland, to local dissemination activities and the development of project results, the partnership has created opportunities for learning, collaboration and exchange across different European ecosystems.

The final TPM in İzmir provided an important opportunity to come together once again, reflect on the achievements of the project and look ahead to how the knowledge, tools and approaches developed through FutureCraft can continue to be shared and used beyond the project.

🤝 Four countries. One partnership. A shared vision for the future.

A big thank you to all our partners, participants, experts and stakeholders who contributed to the FutureCraft journey.

We’re excited to share that the second Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTT-2) of our Erasmus+ KA220 project “Civil Society Initiatives Strengthened with Information and Data Security” was successfully held in Brussels, Belgium, from 18–22 August 2025, hosted by SETA Brussels.

🌐 The training brought together participants from Türkiye, Norway, North Macedonia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, representing civil society organizations and partner institutions.

💬 This five-day programme focused on New Generation Security Threats in the New Information Era, with an emphasis on:
✔ Disinformation, misinformation, and malinformation
✔ Psychological impacts and social engineering threats
✔ Media literacy and manipulation awareness
✔ Practical workshops on verification techniques, case analysis, and risk scenarios

🎤 Expert sessions were delivered by Prof. Dr. Erman Akıllı and Prof. Dr. Murat Yeşiltaş from SETA Foundation, combining interactive lectures, case studies, and open discussions. The “Open Mic” sessions gave participants space to reflect and adapt lessons to their own professional contexts.

🤝 LTT-2 not only enhanced participants’ technical knowledge of data and information security but also strengthened their capacity to identify and respond to manipulative information in their local environments. The outcomes will be disseminated across partner networks and community outreach to ensure lasting impact.
