Earth & East Festival 2026

A heartfelt thank you to the Embassy of Azerbaijan for their wonderful collaboration and support of Earth & East Festival 2026. 🇦🇿♥️🇳🇴

Special thanks to Vice Ambassador Rashad for his inspiring remarks, to Marie Sahba & Trio for two beautiful concerts, to renowned composer Galib Mammadov for sharing Azerbaijani musical heritage with the audience, and to Ayla for the warm reading of Jirtdan in Oslo, by Bahram Bagirzade who is introducing young audiences to a beloved Azerbaijani folk tale.

Together, we introduced Azerbaijani culture through music, literature, storytelling, and friendship, creating meaningful cultural bridges between Azerbaijan and Norway.

Our sincere gratitude also goes to all of the collaboration partners, the Nerdrum Museum, Sjøparken, Thor Heyerdahl Institutt and Vestfold museums. All the volunteers, artists, guests, and CEO of Naturella, Cafer Demir and Cecilie by NorAs Wines who helped make this day memorable.

PART 2 | A visit to Samira Allahverdiyeva’s Art Studio

I had the pleasure of visiting the studio of the incredibly talented Samira Allahverdiyeva, an artist whose breathtaking paintings have long inspired me.

She kindly invited me into her creative space, personally guiding me through each work and sharing the stories and emotions behind every piece on display. Seeing the process so closely made the experience even more special.

We also spoke about her beautiful collaborations and collections with Azerxalça, Zadagan Textile, and the Amorini collection, where art meets design and craftsmanship.

A truly inspiring visit filled with creativity, color, and meaningful conversation 🎨
