The day has finally arrived ! Cosplay Contest Applications are now available for 2026 Fandomatic Con . Link can be found in our Bio in instagram under Cosplay Competition. We look forward to seeing you take the stage with confidence and pride in all the time you have taken to prepare . It is amazing to see how so many of you have gone from your first time ever on a stage and now you make it look so easy . We are so proud of you all! We hope to see many younger cosplayers try the big stage in 2026. Young Stars aka ProtoStars , those 12 and younger, will get a chance to take the stage and receive a little diploma and goodie bag. Don’t forget , age ain’t nothing but a number for us creatives. We hope to see many more new smiles taking the stage at Fandomatic Con 2026.

We hope many will like to join Fandomatics in the Stavanger Folketog this year . You can of course come in cosplay , your Bunad or what you have chosen to wear this special day celebrating Norway.

We will have our first Banner for the parade. We have worked hard on it and we are so proud 🥰.
We will have little green Fandomatics flags, whistles and little bubble wands for those who want to join in and blow some joy to the parade. Some candy will also be made available to pass out to the kids during our walk in the parade.

Helpers in holding the banner will be needed through out the parade time , so if anyone is up for the fun to help hold up the little banner , your help is much appreciated.

Where and when is what many are wondering .
If you go on Stavanger kommunes website (in Norwegian) you can click on 17 mai folketoget and see that Fandomatics is #33 in the parade . We will be starting from Kirkegata behind Viking HK and in front of Indian Society of Rogaland.

The parade starts at 16:00 and we need to meet up in good time before the start of the parade. So let’s try and meet at our spot on Kirkegata at 15:00.

17th of May can be a day of challenges for many , the noise and tons of people all around. Breaks may be needed and that is totally ok. So if you want to try and walk with us even for a little while , a little goes a long way. So join in at any time 🥰.

We are looking forward to seeing you either on the sidelines cheering or walking along side us.

Fandomatics is for the first time joining in the 17th of May Parade in Stavanger and would love many of creatives to join in the days celebration.
More information to come as we get closer to the date. This information will include where we will be in the parade and the time to meet up.
We hope many from other local cosplay communities will join us as we sing and celebrate together this great nation we live in, Norway🥰.

Oh , and to get a guesstimate of how many are interested in joining , please comment in the instagram story poll and or here if you are interested in joining the fun with us. This will help us give the organizer of Stavanger a number to prepare for . Maybe 50-100 😁?!
