Last weekend was a busy one for the club!
🏛️ We visited the Iddis Museum and had a private tour of NO 90.
🚢 The following day, we enjoyed an afternoon tea cruise with Rødne Cruise Line.
Good company, interesting places and time together. ❤️

We are hugely saddened to learn of the death of Norway's King Harald this morning.

The king has been a regular visitor to Stavanger. Many of us were able to enjoy his most recent visit last year when the royal family sailed in to celebrate Stavanger's 900th anniversary on Queen Sonja's birthday.

After 35 years on the throne, our much-loved monarch will be mourned by all. Our thoughts are with the royal household at this very sad time. RIP Kong Harald V

We’re kicking off a new season of People Who Connect with a great line-up of events in September! 💕

Join us for our Kick-Off at Varatun Gård, a tour of IDDIS and No. 90, and an Afternoon Tea Fjord Cruise with Rødne. ☕️🚢

The Kick-Off is open to everyone, while our other events are exclusive to PWC members.

We are looking for volunteers for the following roles:

President:
As the President, you will be the leader and representative for PWC. This role involves presiding over the Board and club meetings and representing PWC at various special events as needed. You will also have minor administrative duties, including preparing board meeting agendas, making announcements, and creating small annual reports for PWC.

Communications Director:
The Communications Director is tasked with creating the quarterly newsletter and overseeing our social media.

If you are looking for an opportunity to expand your horizons in Stavanger and enjoy meeting new people, please get in touch!

A lovely way to wrap up the season! Some of our members gathered for our last coffee morning at the Arkeologisk Museum Stavanger before the summer break, and we also celebrated one of our members’ birthdays.
