Ghana Union Norway is a voluntary non-profit, non-political, non-religious and non- racial organization. The organization, formally Association of Ghanaians in Norway, Østlandet was formed in the 1980s and is one of the oldest organizations of Africans in Norway. The organization is devoted to protecting and promoting all members’ interests. The goal is to work actively to promote Ghanaian culture and bring harmony among members in the quest for closer national unity and social integration. The Union shall act as a link between The Ghana Embassy in Denmark, Ghana and Ghanaians in Norway and Scandinavia in particular and the world as a whole. Membership is open all Ghanaians in Norway and their offsprings.
