We had the honour of welcoming Simon Sætre Borchgrevink, CEO and Founder of normi , who shared his time, insights, and perspectives with our mentees, who also gained hands-on experience using Normi.
Today’s workshop reminded us of a critical shift in the labour market:
It is no longer enough to have skills, you must understand them, articulate them, and position them strategically.
Participants had the opportunity to work hands on with Normi, gaining practical experience in:
✅Identifying their real and often hidden skills!
✅Understanding how their experience translates into value!
✅Seeing how their skills connect to different roles and career paths!
One key insight stood out:
✅Skills are a language.
If we are not speaking the same language as the labour market, our value is easily misunderstood, no matter how qualified we are.
And once you master your skills, you can focus on your uniqueness, shaping a story that is not only personal, but strategic. Because real value is not just what you deliver today, but how you continue to grow, adapt, and contribute in the years to come.
