Ever wondered why scrolling reels and viral posts feels like it’s rotting your brain? 🤯 Turns out — even suffers.

🧠 A new study “LLMs Can Get Brain Rot!” shows that when large language models (LLMs) are trained on junk social media content — short, clickbait-heavy, engagement-bait posts — their “thinking” gets worse.

⚠️ The results were chilling: their reasoning dropped, memory degraded and long-context understanding tanked. Even their “ethical alignment” cracked, and they began showing what the authors call “dark traits” — like overconfidence and shallow conclusions.

At Norsensus Mediaforum, we recently had the pleasure of welcoming our partners for an inspiring exchange of knowledge and creative energy at WOW Me project. Together with .eu (Slovakia), .archetypes (Spain), (Spain), we explored innovative approaches to facilitation and hosted a dynamic Design Thinking workshop.

💡 Alongside learning about Design Thinking, we also looked into how to strategize communication when returning to work after maternity leave—a crucial skill for building confidence and navigating the labour market with ease.

💡 What is Design Thinking?
It’s a versatile method that goes far beyond product design or marketing. You can even apply it to everyday challenges—like preparing for a job interview!

And here comes the exciting part 👇
This autumn, our partners will launch a brand-new training cycles for women: ⭐ Inspired by the know-how shared during our Oslo workshops, these courses will offer practical skills, confidence-building tools, and hands-on learning.

And the best part? Thanks to the WOW-ME (Women of Work Market – Maximising Empowerment) project, co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme, participation is completely FREE! 💰 Plus, moms can take advantage of free babysitting 👼.

We’re proud to see the knowledge exchanged in Oslo come to life in our partners' premises, and we can’t wait to see the positive impact of these courses. 💪
