🇨🇿 Discover more about our 2025 festival on the website of our main partner, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Oslo. Together with Tjeckiska centret (České centrum ve Stockholmu), they have been some of our most important sponsors.

We are grateful for the Czech Republic’s ongoing support for culture, film, and discussions on human rights violations. It’s an honor to combine this support with that of our Norwegian partners and bring not only documentaries, but also filmmakers, protagonists, producers, activists, artists and experts to the heart of Oslo in our favourite local cinema Cinemateket i Oslo. 🇳🇴

🎬 The second day of the film festival is behind us and we successfully finished the second edition of One World Echoes in Oslo.
The films took us first to Gaza 🇵🇸 and then to Ukraine 🇺🇦. The stories from wars brought pain and tears, but there was also hope and laughter.
🙏👏Thanks to all our wonderful guests and engaged audience, the discussions were profound and full of questions, comments, ideas and opinions.

🇨🇿🇳🇴 Speaking of partners, a special mention goes to the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Oslo!
His Excellency Mr. David Červenka was the first person in Norway to support the idea of the festival One World Echoes in Oslo, and the Embassy has provided both financial and moral support from the very beginning.

Our cooperation has been seamless, and in times when both culture and human rights face significant challenges, it's vital to have partners who care deeply about both, and who aren’t afraid to stand up for equality and shared values.

This year, we’ve also had the pleasure of working with newpart members of the Embassy team, who joined with great enthusiasm and have continued the tradition of strong support and genuine collaboration.

🤝We look forward to many more years of meaningful cooperation and shared values!
