Qurbani will be performed within the prescribed time in accordance with the Islamic injunctions. Meat from Qurbani will be distributed amongst deserving families in different parts of Pakistan. All proceeds from the sale of hides are used to support the treatment of deserving cancer patients at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospitals and Research Centres in Lahore and Peshawar.

Closer than ever, Shaukat Khanum Karachi
Status as on May 9, 2026

Approximately 67% of the finishing work at Pharmacy has been completed, with the remaining activities progressing on schedule. The Pharmacy operations include clinical stations, an inpatient pharmacy section, syrup section counters (including dispensing, cash, and prescription counters), a waiting area, offices, and other associated areas. It is scheduled to open in December 2026.

The hospital will open as a new ray of hope for the people of Karachi, the rest of Sindh and beyond, providing state-of-the-art cancer treatment to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay.
