A Charter was approved and the Board was elected. There has been little knowledge of the possibility for Norwegian investors in Ukraine.

Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce is a non-governmental, non-profit organization which facilitates the establishment of relations, as well as the organization of contacts, the exchange of the information and experience between Ukraine and Norway. The Norwegian – Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (NUCC) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization which was formally founded at an open meeting at the Telenor on the 20th of November 2008. On the 5th of January 2009 the Norwegian – Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce was registered according to Norwegian Law as an association with its headquarter in Oslo. The working language of the Chamber is English, which is used both for official correspondence and networking meetings. Ukraine has been considered a politically and economically unstable country with low investment indicators. Our first priority will be to change this attitude by delivering information on business possibilities to potential investors. Our aim is in development of trade and economic relations and investment processes between representatives of enterprise structures of Ukraine and Norway. Increasing contacts and exchange of experience between existing and potential investors from Norway and Ukraine through networking and membership meetings as well as newsletters on economic and political situation in Ukraine and Norway. PROJECT:
From autumn 2013 to summer 2016 NUCC runs a project, named "Business Development and Good Corporate Governance in Ukraine", funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The purpose of the project is to help establish better understanding among young Ukrainian entrepreneurs and managers, and among businesses working with Norwegian counterparts the importance of good corporate governance and transparency for success. Another outcome of the project is a business guide for Ukraine and a number of MoUs (Memorandum of Understanding) between Norwegian and Ukrainian businesses. The MoU's intention are to increase trade and cooperation between Norway and Ukraine. Is your company interested in this, or do you know about companies that could be interested in opening a new market for import/export, find a business partner in Norway/Ukraine, or would be interested in outsourcing some of their production? Organizations, universities, institutions that are interested in cooperation with a similar player in Ukraine/Norway are also welcome to contact NUCC. MoUs are only letters of intent, but the goal is that the agreements will lead to fruitful cooperation and more business, and boost the trading figures between Ukraine and Norway, and build stronger relations between our two countries. EU Call for Expressions of Interest: How to Apply Successfully🇪🇺🇺🇦

On 21 October 2026, the European Commission(DG ENEST) is organising a practical session at Ukraine House Brussels, available in person and online.

The Call invites EU/EEA and Ukrainian companies to put forward concrete investment projects in Ukraine of €50 million or more.

Eligible projects can be connected with partner Financial Institutions under the Ukraine Investment Framework (UIF).

The session will cover:
• Why apply and how the Call works
• Eligibility criteria and required documents
• Project maturity and application assessment
• An example of a well-prepared application
• Q&A with the European Commission

NUCC is going to SIAL Paris 2026!🇫🇷

Next week, the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce will be present at SIAL Paris 2026. It is one of the world’s largest international trade fairs for the food and beverage industry, taking place on 17-21. October 2026 at Paris Nord Villepinte.

NUCC will be hosted at the Ukrainian collective stand organised by the U-Food Association: 🇳🇴🇺🇦

That’s a wrap on Module 2 of Young Entrepreneurs 2026 in Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv! 🇺🇦🇳🇴

Participants explored the Ukrainian economy and the challenges of rebuilding, while developing their business ideas. From pitching and go-to-market strategies to choosing business partners and building strong teams, they gained practical tools to help turn their ideas into successful businesses.

We also welcomed a representative of IRON, Nadiia Shymkiv, who introduced us to their international activities and Ukraine’s defence and dual-use ecosystem.

At UNBROKEN, we saw how wounded Ukrainian soldiers receive treatment and rehabilitation, and how prostheses are made and tailored to each patient’s needs. Our participants also visited Superhumans on their own initiative, where they spent time with people undergoing rehabilitation and heard their stories firsthand. On Defenders Day, they honoured fallen soldiers at Marsove Pole - thanks to Halyna Melnyk for arranging this.

Along the way, we experienced Ukrainian culture, enjoyed delicious local food, visited a science museum and heard the moving story of Клуб Рослин - все для садівництва and Nazariy Zinko, who rebuilt his business from the ashes. We were also welcomed by Lviv City Council and explored the city on a guided tour.

Next stop: Warsaw in November! 🇵🇱

Building Business Resilience: What Can Norway Learn from Ukraine? 🇺🇦🇳🇴

Exploring opportunities for Ukrainian agri-food companies in Norway🇺🇦🇳🇴

On 1 October, NUCC and partners brought together more than 90 participants from 16 regions of Ukraine for an online workshop on opportunities in the Norwegian agri-food market.

Pavlo Ladetskyi, GQSP Ukraine, opened the workshop, while Natalia Babanina, Country Manager at NUCC Ukraine, introduced NUCC and our work in Ukraine. Andreas L. Tranøy, Senior Adviser on Seafood and Agriculture at NUCC, shared practical insights into the Norwegian market, and Iryna Vasylenko, Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office, presented opportunities connected to SIAL Paris 2026.

On 24 September, NUCC and Wikborg Rein hosted a group of 40+ top company representatives from the Executive and Presidents MBA program of Kyiv Mohyla Business School (KMBS). We were happy to see them prioritizing to visit Norway and grateful to ble included in their program, put together in close dialouge with the Ukrainian Embassy in Oslo.

The delegation and guests were welcomed by NUCC chairman and Wikborg Rein partner Ketil E. Bøe, whereafter NUCC shared insights into the Norwegian market and how we help companies understand the market, find relevant business partners and navigate available financing opportunities.
