The search for Ginang Kalayaan 2026, “People’s Choice Award”

Voting Period: September 14-18, 2026

Please follow the official rules and regulations below:

1. Voting Mechanics

Voters must like or follow the KALAYAAN NORGE FACEBOOK page to be eligible to vote.

A "Like, Heart, Care" reaction on the official photo of a candidate constitutes 1 (ONE ) valid vote.

A Share of the official photo of the candidate constitutes 2 (TWO) valid votes.

Only reactions and shares on the original photo posted on the official page will be counted.
Comments, and likes on shared posts will not be counted.

Voting starts on Today, September 14 (10am) and ends on September 18(10am).
Votes received after the deadline will not be counted.

2. Counting and Results

Votes will be counted based on the number of "REACTIONS AND SHARES" received during the official voting period.

The candidate with the most reacts and shares at the end of the voting period will be awarded the title "People's Choice".

In the event of a tie, the pageant committee reserves the right to break the tie through a fair method (e.g., judges' score, coin toss, or extend votation).

3. Disqualification & Fair Use Policy

Use of auto-likes, bots, fake accounts, or paid services to gain votes is strictly prohibited. Any candidate found violating this will be disqualified without prior notice.

The committee reserves the right to audit votes and remove invalid or suspicious votes as deemed necessary. Negative comments, bashing, or any form of online harassment by or toward any candidate will not be tolerated and may lead to disqualification or removal of votes.

4. Official Announcements

Official updates and announcements regarding the voting will be made only through the Kalayaan Norge FB page and website.

Final results will be announced on the day of the Pageant. [September 19,2026] at The Clarion Hotel,The Hub.

5. Disclaimer

Facebook is not affiliated with or endorsing this voting process. By participating in the voting process, voters and candidates agree to abide by these rules and to accept the committee's decisions as final.

📢 Public Announcement & Friendly Community Reminder from Kalayaan Norge 🇳🇴🇵🇭

Hello everyone! Please take note of some important travel updates if you are living in or commuting through Oslo this coming Tuesday and Wednesday (Sept 8th - 9th), as well as an upcoming national observance.

🚧 Major Traffic Disruptions in Oslo:

Closed Streets: The Oslo city center will be closed to all private vehicles, buses, and trams from Tuesday, Sept 8th at 18:00 until Wednesday, Sept 9th at 21:00.

Available Transport: Only trains and the Metro (T-bane) will operate to and from Oslo S / Jernbanetorget during this time.

Tip: Please plan your commute ahead of time, check the Ruter app or Ruter.no for live updates, and calculate extra travel time!

🕯️ National Minute of Silence:

On Wednesday, Sept 9th, from 13:00 to 13:01, a national minute of silence will be observed across Norway.

We encourage everyone—whether you are at work, out in public, or at home—to pause your activities and participate in this respectful observance.
