Den musikalske profilen er jazz med røtter i New Orleans, men også swing, blues, ragtime, gospel og stringswing er med i klubbens presentasjon, som i hovedsak musikalsk spenner over perioden 1920 til 1940-tallet. Musikken presenteres i dag på 3 ulike scener i Oslo; Herr Nilsen, Stortorvets Gjæstgiveri og i Oslo Konserthus’ foaje. New Orleans Workshop Jazzclub was started by musicians in Christiania Jazzband in 1972, and is therefore among the oldest jazzclubs in Norway. The profile is jazz with roots in New Orleans, but the music presented is from the periode 1920 – 1940, and also includes swing, blues, ragtime, gospel and stringswing. The music is presented in 3 different venues in Oslo; Herr Nilsen, Stortorvets Gjæstgiveri and the entrance hall in Oslo Konserthus.
