As we begin the 16 Days of Activism against gender based violence, Scandicare stands firm in our commitment to safeguard the dignity, safety, and rights of every person with a disability. For too long, gender-based violence has thrived in silence — especially in spaces where the voices of persons with disabilities are ignored, dismissed, or unheard.
This year, we are raising that volume. We are breaking the silence around the unique forms of violence and discrimination faced by persons with disabilities, and we are calling for a world where inclusion itself becomes a tool of protection. Because when we center accessibility, we strengthen justice. When we listen to every voice, we dismantle the systems that allow violence to persist.
Scandicare stands united with survivors, advocates, caregivers, and communities. Together, we shine a light on the hidden stories, confront harmful norms, and affirm one truth: dignity is a right — and no one should be left behind in the fight to end GBV.
