جسد الأرض هو ورشة فنية وتأملية ليوم واحد في البصرة، بدعم من ICSSI وتنظيم بالتعاون مع ريحان للثقافة ومؤسسة قنطرة الثقافية. ومن خلال السرد الحكائي، والرسم الحدسي، والعمل بالطين، تهدف الورشة إلى إعادة بناء علاقة حيّة مع البيئة.

تهدف هذه المبادرة إلى تعزيز الوعي البيئي من خلال الفن، والذاكرة، والمجتمع، مع إتاحة مساحة للفنانين والفنانات المحليين/ات، والطلاب/الطالبات، والناشطين/ات لتخيّل أشكال جديدة من الرعاية والارتباط.

On the 27th of October, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan gave a speech in front of the PARLIAMENT denouncing the crimes committed by Israeli forces against civilians in the Gaza Strip and in the West Bank and addressing the complicity of the West in the indiscriminate bombing of a civilian population and of key civilian infrastructure.
While our unfading solidarity goes to the Palestinian population, it is our duty to highlight the unjustifiable and unlawful military aggression against civilians wherever it happens in the world and to unveil the hypocrisy of President Erdoğan as he calls for peace in the MENA region while Turkish armed force (TAF) carry out indiscriminate military operations in the Iraqi Kurdistan and in the governorates of Kirkuk and Nineveh under the pretext of suppressing the PKK.
Tad-Led cross border bombing and military operations since 2015 have killed 149 civilians in the area, of which 20 were killed in 2022.
Each of those victims had a name and the fundamental right to be protected against conflict-related violence under international humanitarian law, a right that Turkey is violating under the pretext of a "war on terrorism"- a rhetoric much similar to the one employed by Israel to justify its genocidal politics in the aggression on Gaza.
The End Cross-Border Bombing Campaign calls for the protection of all civilians in conflict-affected areas, and the respect of the provisions of international human rights and humanitarian law by belligerents, including the obligation to not target vital civilian infrastructures such as hospitals and residential areas in military operations.

في السابع والعشرين من اكتوبر, القى الرئيس التركي ريسيب طيب اردوغان خطابا امام البرلمان مستنكرا فيه الجرائم التي قامت بها القوى الاسرائيلية العسكرية ضد المدنيين في قطاع غزة والضفة الغربية مؤشرا على تواطؤ الغرب في القصف العشوائي للسكان المدنيين والبنى التحتية الرئيسية للمدنيين.
على رغم من تضامننا الغير متناهي لشعب فلسطين, انه من واجبنا استنكار العدوان العسكري الغير مبرر والغير قانوني ضد المدنيين بغش النضر عن مكان حدوثها في العالم وكشف نفاق الرئيس اردوغان الذي يدعو للسلام في الشرق الاوسط وشمال افريقيا في الوقت الذي تقوم به القوات الجوية التركية عمليات عسكرية عشوائية في كوردستان العراق ومحافظة كركوك ونينوى تحت ذريعة قمع حزب العمال الكوردستاني (البككة).
قامت القوات الجوية التركية بهجمات عابرة للحدود وعمليات عسكرية قتلت 149 مدنيا في المنطقة منذ 2015 حتى الان, ومنها 20 مدنيا فقط في 2022.
كل ضحية منهم لديه اسم وحق اساسي بأن يكون محميا من العنف المرتبط بالنزاع تحت القانون الانساني الدولي, وهو حق انتهكته تركيا تحت ذريعة "الحرب ضد الارهاب" - ذريعة مشابهة جدا لما استخدمته اسرائيل لتبرير سياستها القمعية لعدوانها في غزة.
تناشد حملة انهوا القصف عبر الحدود لحماية جميع المدنيين في المناطق المتأثرة بالنزاع واحترام النصوص الدولية لحقوق الانسان والقوانين الانسانية من قبل الدول المتحاربة, بضمنها الزامية عدم استهداف البنى التحتية المدنية الاساسية مثل المستشفيات والمناطق السكنية في العمليات العسكرية.

في 7 نوفمبر 2023 اجتمع منسق المنتدى الاجتماع الكردستاني في مدينة سليمانية مع منظمات ونشطاء مدنيين مهتمين بالعمل المدني في إقليم كردستان. حضر إلاجتماع 25 شخصًا من مناطق مختلفة، بما في ذلك دهوك، أربيل، كركوك، كلار، خانقين، وجمجمال سوليمانية. .
تحدث منسق المنتدى عن الشركاء وتاريخ المنتدى والتحديات التي تواجههم في عملهم. بعد ذلك، تمت مناقشة مكثفة حول العمل المستقبلي للمنتدى وتم وضع خطة لضمان استمراريته.
تم تكليف ثلاثة أشخاص لأداء دور السكرتارية للمنتدى، تم منح السكرتارية إذنًا بكتابة خطة استراتيجية وتقديمها للأعضاء للموافقة عليها.
تم تأسيس أربع لجان وتم توزيع الأعضاء عليها وفقًا لاختصاصاتهم:
1. لجنة العمال.
2. لجنة المجتمع المدني والقانون.
3. لجنة المرأة والشباب.
4. لجنة البيئة والصحة.
On November 7, the coordinator of the Kurdistan Social Forum in the city of Sulaymaniyah gathered with organizations and activists interested in civil work in the Kurdistan region. Their meeting was attended by 25 individuals from various areas, including Duhok, Erbil, Kirkuk, Kalar, Khanaqin, and Chamchamal in Sulaymaniyah.
At the beginning of the meeting, the coordinator discussed the partners, the forum's history, and the challenges they face in their work. Following that, an intensive discussion took place regarding the future activities of the forum, and a plan was devised to ensure its continuity.
three individuals were appointed to fulfill the role of the forum's secretariat. The secretariat was granted permission to draft a strategic plan and present it to the members for approval.
As a result, four committees were established, and members were assigned to them according to their areas of expertise:
1.Labor Committee.
2.Civil Society and Legal Committee.
3.Women and Youth Committee.
4.Environment and Health Committee.

CPT Iraqi Kurdistan team, alongside partner organizations from End Cross Border Bombing Campaign (ECBBC), stand in solidarity with Gaza and Palestinian civilians targeted in the Gaza Strip. There is no excuse for conducting war crimes and attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure.

بعد تأخر رواتب موظفي اقليم كردستان مرة اخرى لمدة ثلاثة اشهر أغسطس يوليو وسبتمبر بتاريخ ٢٠٢٣/٩/١٣ اول يوم بداية الدوام المدرسي اعلن معلمي السليمانية و حلبجة و كرميان اضراب تام و عدم الدوام .
بعد مرور اكثر من شهر للأضراب صرح وزير تربية اقليم بان رغم عدم اعطاء الرواتب بجب على المعلمين الرجوع الى المدارس و ايقاف الاضراب في يوم احد ٢٠٢٣/١٠/٢٢ .
هذا التصريح جاء برد فعل قوي عند المعلمین فتم اعلان مظاهرة في السليمانية و حلبة و ادارة كرميان .
في الثاني والعشرين من أكتوبر في الساعة ٩:٣٠ صباحا، بدأت التظاهرات في شارع سالم نحو مديرية تربية السليمانية ، وتم تمديد الاضراب من قبل معلمين بدون تحديد مهلة.

After the salaries of Kurdistan Region employees were delayed again for a period of three months (August, July, and September) on September 13, 2023, the first day of the school year, teachers in Sulaymaniyah, Halabja, and Kermian announced a total strike and refused to go to work.

After more than a month of strikes, the Minister of Education in the Kurdistan Region stated that despite the non-payment of salaries, teachers must return to schools and end the strike on Sunday, October 22, 2023.

This statement generated a strong reaction from the teachers, leading to a protest being declared in Sulaymaniyah, Halabja, and Kermian.
On the twenty-second of October at 9:30 AM, demonstrations began on Salem Street heading towards the Sulaymaniyah Directorate of Education, and teachers extended the strike without specifying a deadline.
