We have decided to fund 1200 operations in Bangladesh over the next 12 months. The operations will mainly be to fix hearing disabilities, club feet and cerebral Palsy for kids and young adults in cooperation with our sister organisation Impact Foundation Bangladesh. We need your help for Phase II and about 100 operations during June. That would add up to about 125 000 NOK or about 13 500 USD. THANK YOU for helping us to help!

Verden vingler i hengslene om dagen og mange lider.
Hjelpesløsheten råder, og det er vanskelig å vite hvor man kan hjelpe til.
Nødhjelp i krigsherjede områder er én ting. Drift av helsetjenester og tilstedeværelse i andre områder blir ofte glemt, til tross for et konstant behov. Impact Norway har ved hjelp av norske private støttespillere de siste 15 år bidratt til å holde den unike Lake Clinic i Kambodjsa gående. På sørøstasias største innsjø har vi tilrettelagt og bygget flere klinikker og båter for å hjelpe mange av de flere hundre tusen mennesker som lever i flytende hus ute på innsjøen. Klinikkene utfører utallige behandlinger, vaksinering, enkle vitale operasjoner og fødselshjelp. Utfordringer rundt mental helse og familierådgiving gis det også midler til. Små investeringer skal til for å bidra til bidra til bedre, livsviktig ernæring og kosthold tilskudd da det stort sett er fisk som står på menyen. Også her står utfordingene i kø, som overfiske, synkende vannkvalitet og andre klimautfordringer.

Vi har et tett samarbeid med klinikkene med god oversikt over kostnader og drift. TLC er viktig! Nå trenger vi din hjelp til å holde klinikkene flytende for essensiell hjelp til tusenvis av personer. At den globale bistanden har tørket inn betraktelig hjelper ikke.

Denne måneden får klinikken hjelp av sykepleierstudenter fra Oslo Met som har valgt å jobbe på klinikkene frivilling. Det er fantastisk, men vi trenger også driftsmidler til leger, medisin og drivstoff til framkomstmidler!

We have again visited one of our favourite funding projects, The Lake Clinic Cambodia. Here, hundreds of people who live on or near the great lake of Tonlé Sap get consultations, treatments, and basic health care for free, weekly. The clinics do a fantastic job, where no other health care is provided.

We are PROUD to have the writer, speaker, climber (or the other way around) Jon Gangdal with us on the Advisory Board of IMPACT Norway.
He has climbed and led Nepalese expeditions to Dablam, Parchemo, North and South Everest, Manaslu, and more. He also led several development aid programs in the mountainous regions of Nepal. Watch this space for more exciting projects coming up! 🌄

We are organizing a great trip to Cambodia to visit this amazing country, again, and while we are there, have a look at the impressive work that The Lake Clinic Cambodia is doing!
If you are interested in philanthropy, if you would like to look into how you can help others and in addition get to bike the backroads to temples like Angkor Wat and Koh Ker, this trip is for you! We are staying in a great hotel and can promise you some seriously good food too!

A few weeks ago, all IMPACT countries met for a few days at a college in Sussex, England. Here, strategies, achievements, projects, and dreams were shared. Inspirational internal and external speakers did a great job.

We are now even more committed to helping underdeveloped regions of Nepal, Bangladesh, India, and Cambodia with primary health care in rural environments. The goal is, as always, to prevent avoidable disabilities by offering mobile clinics. "If you can´t get to the hospital, the hospital comes to you! " and we provide the services by hospital boats, trains, or even mobile clinics by 4x4 jeeps!

Help us to help! All contributions are welcome, as a private person or with your company's CSR program.
This aid is now more important than ever!
