Last week, employees, alumni, partners, founders and friends gathered to celebrate 25 years of Simula. 🧡
Did you know that Simula was born out of a government ambition tied to the redevelopment of the old airport at Fornebu? As Minister of Research and Higher Education, Sigrun Aasland, noted during the celebration:
"The establishment of Simula was a bold political choice (...) with a bold mandate to conduct research at the highest international level within ICT, to educate researchers and to create innovation. And you delivered at the highest level."
