Our Women’s Day celebration was a tremendous success. 💜
We truly experienced the meaning of this year’s theme: “Give To Gain.”
And it would not have been possible without the steady, beautiful partnership of our sisters in the Union of Nigerian Nationals in Norway . Thank you for standing with us, dreaming with us, and building this space side by side. This collaboration is exactly what community is supposed to feel like. 🤝🏾
With approximately 60 women of colour from over 16 nations in the room, we laughed, we learned, we evolved – and most importantly, we saw each other. There was softness, there was power, there were tears and loud laughter, there was dancing, food, care, and so much affirmation.
To every single one of you who showed up, shared your energy, your stories, your presence:
thank you for allowing us to serve you.
You were the magic in the room. 🌸
You didn’t just attend an event – you helped create it. Your openness, your curiosity, your vulnerability and your joy turned a program into a living, breathing community moment.
