Health and wellbeing of international exchange students 🧠
(Teo’s Masters research project)

📚My Masters thesis is about health and wellbeing of international exchange students in Norway. I hope to map the key factors involved in your wellbeing, mental and physical health while in Norway. My research project aims to identify problem areas so that targetted measures can be implemented for the current and future students in Oslo and Norway.

ESN Social Run 🏃‍♀️

Want to participate in a refreshing activity and meet new people who like to be active?

⏱️ 17:30-18:15
📍 Kiwi Kringsja
🥾 Distance: 3.3km

We will warm up and start running at ca 17:40 and will jog one round around the lake, which is around 3.3km at a nice conversational pace for about 20-25 minutes.

In addition:
Simultaneously, some people from our ESN Holmenkollstafetten-Team will run a 3.3km time trial, so anyone is welcome to join the trial as well.

Don’t forget your water!

Join us this Friday, to a guided tour of the Freia Chocolate Factory, where we will get to learn more about one of Norway’s most beloved chocolate brands. 🍫

You will get the chance to learn about their history, to see how the chocolate is made and even get the opportunity to mold your own chocolate! 😋

Afternoon Picnic & Games 🧺🏐

You may flex your volleyball, Kuba (Norwegian game), frisbee or badminton skills or play some card games. We will bring Uno, but feel free to also bring any game you would like to play!

Easter Egg Hunt & Island Picnic 🧺

Join us Monday, April the 6th, for a festive picnic on Hovedøya as well as a fun Easter egg hunt and some games.🐇✨

During the egg hunt you will have the chance to find some chocolates and win some big Easter eggs as well!🥚🍫

After the egg hunt, we’ll enjoy a picnic together by the beach. We will bring and play volleyball, frisbee, kubb, badminton and card games. 🏐🥏

We will provide snacks, but feel free to bring your own.

Easter Cabin Hike 2☀️🐇

We plan to visit some of the best spots and viewpoints in Nordmarka.🌲
This will be a new path, with new viewpoints and a cabin that we haven’t visited before. We plan to finish with a sunset from one of the viewpoints. 🌄

Crazy Football Edition 🏸🏐⚽️

Want to take in the sun and enjoy a fun and chill afternoon? Then join us this Wednesday for a picnic and a game of football!

There will be other games to play together as well.
You may flex your volleyball, kubb (Norwegian game), frisbee or badminton skills or play some card games. We will bring Uno, but feel free to also bring any game you would like to play!
We might start a bonfire after the event depending on the day. It would around 18:30.

We’ll try a big team match for football (20 vs 20ish). Everyone is welcome to join. Last semester we played 25 vs 25 and it was a lot of fun. No skills required, so no pressure! Just enjoy!⚽️

In addition, we will bring a homemade cake and some snacks, but fell free to bring anything that you would like!🍫 🥧

You can join anytime, so don’t be stressed! 😊

Please be on time, we will leave at 18:55. :)

We will provide some snacks but you can always bring your own.🍫
Please bring enough water and fitting clothes!

Easter Social Run 🏃‍♀️🏃

Want to participate in a refreshing activity and meet new people who like to be active? Then come and join us tomorrow for a Social Run!

🗓️ Tuesday, March 31st
⏱️ Start Time: 18:00
📍 Sognsvann T-Bane Station
👟 Distance: 3.5 km

We will warm up and start running at 18:10/18:15. The jog will go one round around the lake, ca. 3.3km. We will run a nice conversational pace for about 20-25 minutes.

Afterwards we will provide some fruit and snacks for you.🍊

Special Side Quest: If you are able to catch an Easter Bunny, you may leave with a big Freia chocolate of your choice! 🐇🍫

Note*: It’s recommended to join the social run, if you want to join the Holmenkollenstafetten team!

You can leave your belongings (backpacks, jackets etc.) at our spot at Sognsvann. Someone will be there keeping an eye on them.
