🎤✨ We’re excited to announce our next speaker for Diversify Summit 2025 Lina Daouk-Öyry.

Lina is an Associate Professor of Organizational Psychology at BI Norwegian Business School. Her interdisciplinary research bridges academia and practice, focusing on workplace inclusion, diversity, and social sustainability.
She received the 2020 Distinguished Scholar Award from the Arab Fund for Social and Economic Development, and her scholarly activism was recognized by AACSB as one of its “Innovations That Inspire.”

A strong advocate for women and underrepresented groups, Lina co-led the Support and Accelerate Workplace Inclusion (SAWI) project, promoting gender-inclusive policies and women’s economic participation across the Middle East and North Africa region. She has also served as a Women in Data Science Ambassador for 4 years and now teaches Inclusive Leadership in executive and graduate programs in Norway and Iceland.

✨🤝 Following a successful Marie Curie Fellowship application in 2024, she now hosts a postdoctoral fellow at BI researching highly skilled migration in the Nordics.

🧘🏻‍♀️ Tendai is a yoga teacher, wellness curator, and international speaker whose work blends wellbeing, African philosophy, Ayurveda, and self-care as tools for personal and collective transformation. Trained in vinyasa, restorative yoga, and yoga nidra, she creates programs and talks that help people reconnect with balance, purpose, and inner strength.

Her impact reaches across borders, from leading workshops and talks for diplomatic agencies, TEDx, and women’s groups, to being invited by Christian Dior Couture and UNESCO to speak at the Women@Dior Mentorship Program on women, leadership, sustainability, and education.

Tendai believes that self-care is a form of inner engineering — cultivating the clarity, resilience, and courage needed to live with purpose and lead with authenticity.

Sarah is a creative, award-winning marketing executive and DEI consultant with deep experience driving growth through their unique blend of storytelling, market expertise, and a desire to stand out from the crowd. With a sharp eye for digital transformation and an inclusive, people-first approach, Sarah blends equity, ethics, and innovation into everything they do.

A veteran of both the industrial software and HR technology markets, Sarah has held global marketing leadership roles for more than a decade. Currently, Sarah is Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Benifex, the market leader in employee reward and benefits technology, helping more than 3000 organizations in 100 countries deliver remarkable and rewarding employee experiences. Prior to Benifex, they were CMO at HiBob, scaling the company’s global reach into modern, midsize, multinational companies. Before HiBob, Sarah was CMO at Udacity, where they led global brand, marketing, and communications; Head of Commercial Marketing at PTC, where they focused on pipeline generation and value messaging; and Vice President of Marketing at Salary.com, where they oversaw global marketing.

🎤✨Thorey is the CEO and founder of Alda, an Icelandic tech company that has developed innovative DEI software for workplaces around the world.

Her expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion runs deep—before founding Alda, she served as a DEI partner at Capacent, one of Iceland’s leading consulting firms, where she led transformative DEI projects with prominent organizations including the Icelandic Parliament and the Icelandic National Police Force.✨🤝

Thorey’s leadership extends across multiple sectors. She has served as a political advisor to Iceland’s Minister of the Interior, a member of the Icelandic Export Council, and chairperson of the Icelandic Tourism Council.

Her commitment to gender equality and social justice is evident through her roles as deputy board member of the Icelandic Gender Equality Fund, board member of the UN Women National Committee in Iceland, and as founder and chairperson of the Icelandic Committee of V-Day, an organization dedicated to ending violence against women.
