As we celebrate World Menstrual Hygiene Day today, we take time to recognize the efforts made by our director Wambui kariuki in ensuring that we achieve a period friendly world. Through her unwavering belief in this year’s theme, she acquired over 5000 reusable pads from the amazing 84 years old Eva through Abdi Haase. We also recognise Holmgren for giving her resources to pack and send the reusable pads to us.
These amazing women are a true representation of what being Together for a Period Friendly World means in action. As we champion for the menstrual dignity of both girls and women, these reusable pads will go a long way in sustaining our efforts to end menstrual poverty and conserve the environment.

Students from Kairi Rumwe ,Ndekei and Igegania Secondary school in Gatundu North yesterday together with Scandicare and Dawn of hope foundation field officers at Wandui primary school to commemorate this year's Menstrual Hygiene Day.200 girls from the three secondary schools received a menstrual cup and training of an eco- friendly ,reusable and economical alternative sanitary product to manage menstruation.
