International Society for Health and Human Rights - ISHHR ISHHR spreads awareness of health issues affecting people who have experienced trauma in the context of war and organised violence.

ISHHR Norway has taken over the reins from ISHHR Australia. Cooperating with a Local organisation committee in Colombia, we continue to plan a year of capacity building and an international event in the natural beauty of Antioquía, Colombia - if all goes well with the world. We are still in the process of updating this page: below, you will find historical news. Since 1987, the international organ

isation has held Capacity Building Workshops in post-conflict regions on a tri-annual basis, followed by an International Conference on Health and Human Rights. The ISHHR Conference is a unique event for organisations and individuals working with mental health issues affecting people who have experienced trauma in the context of war and organised violence. The ISHHR Conference has garnered a large amount of local support in Colombia, particularly in Antioquía. where Corporación Región is educational coordinator in ISHHR’s Local Organising Committee. Near 20 local non-government organisations have agreed to join the Committee and lend their resources to supporting it. We will also welcome contributions from experts and speakers in the Americas, Africa, Europe, and Asia to present, debate, and help to resolve our common global challenges.
