Another great and blessed trip is in the books for Ministro. Out of five different ministries that we visited, it’s impossible to pick a favorite. From the staff of an incredible foster care organization doing amazing work, to fist bumping a team of boys from a township full of sheet-metal homes as they enter the soccer field, to an organization, that goes into the poorest of schools to offer tutoring and mentoring and overall care. The opportunities are endless for the American church to partner with the South African church to bring about change in a country, whose apartheid history remains fresh in peoples minds.

Hey Friends! Here we go! For the first time since COVID hit the world, Ministro Journeys is headed back to South Africa. Plans are to work through the local church to provide hands on support for the numerous activities they offer to outlying communities. With airfares up as we’ll as other travel expenses, your donations will be essential. There are many needs in the world, not the least of which include flooding in our own state, however our work is fully dependent on your support and your tax deductible donations will bless others across the globe. We covet your prayers as we prepare for this journey, so all prayers welcome!

After a visit to Western Kentucky to assess how Ministro Journeys could best serve the many needs of the tornado damaged area, we can to some conclusions. Rather than doing small amounts for many, we decided to go large for a few. The thought behind this is passing it forward to make the greatest impact. The people we help can in turn help others that help yet others and so on. Please take a moment to view the photos. Friends we are humbled and incredibly thankful for the generous giving during Giving Tuesday!! In a world tattered by virus, divided by politics and social issues and surrounded by “new normals”, God continues to remind us how He’s still moving in the hearts of His people.
