Our students took 4th place in First Lego League robot games at the tournament in Oslo this past weekend! We are so incredibly proud of all of them for their hard work and incredible achievement! 🤩🎈

There is only one week left before the First Lego League Tournament in Oslo! Our students have worked so hard, and we're so very proud of them!
If you don't know much about the program, the team has 8 weeks to work on a project with a different theme each year. Students are given an innovation problem that they need to solve and create a real-world solution. They need to design, build, and program a robot to solve missions, on the LEGO board, in order to earn as many points as possible in 2.5 minutes. Then they give a presentation to judges that includes four aspects: their innovation problem solution, technology/robot design and programming, the robot games themselves, and how they worked together as a team. Yes, our students spend time playing with LEGOs, but it is so much more!!!
