We participated in the Internasjonal Matdag event in the Atrium at A building yesterday in celebration of Erasmus Week. We had a few fun games that showcased the different nationality of students who have been in Gjøvik for all who stopped by and we also distributed SIT gift cards to the three participants who got the highest scores in the games.

Thank you all who dropped by for the event and to the international office at NTNU Gjøvik for organizing the event.

Join us for International Portuguese night! 🇵🇹

On Thursday, 5th October, students from Portugal in Gjøvik will share insights into Portugal’s culture and present some information about their country at the event. They will also prepare some snacks from Portugal for you to try. A big thank you to our sponsor Kultur Kafé for their generous support, which has allowed us to organize and enjoy this enriching celebration of Portuguese culture.

Last week, we gathered for our General Assembly, reflecting on the past semester and unveiling our plans for the upcoming semester. 🌍🚀 We also held elections and as a result can proudly introduce ISU Gjøvik's new board for Autumn 2023!

But before we look ahead, let's take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to our outgoing board members. 🙏 Their dedication and hard work have paved the way for unforgettable experiences for international students in Gjøvik. 🌆🤝

As we step into this new semester, we're brimming with enthusiasm to create even more interesting events, forge lasting connections, and make every international student's time in Gjøvik enjoyable. 🎉🌟

At International Night: Pakistan, students from Pakistan in Gjøvik presented about their country and culture to all who were present yesterday at NTNU Gjøvik. Those who were present yesterday also had the opportunity to enjoy amazing snacks from Pakistan made by the students and got to know a lot about the landscape, culture, music and people of Pakistan.

Thank you to all the hard work by the students from Pakistan for showcasing their country to all of us. We are grateful to the international office at NTNU Gjøvik for helping us organize the event and for everyone who were present at the event.

Hello good people! Tomorrow from 12:30 to 13:30, the International Office will host an international café in G303 in the G-building (top floor, above the library). There'll be free coffee, tea and cookies. All students are welcome and we hope to see you there! 🥳 🍪 ☕ 🍵
