UN Students Bergen UN Students Bergen is a voluntary student organization for young people that are interested in the United Nations and International Politics.

The UN Students Association Bergen is a voluntary organization working to spread awareness on the UN's sustainable development goals (SDG's), as well as engage students in UN-related issues and other international concerns. We are the local branch of the UN Students Association Norway

WOW!⭐️ What an educative start of the UN Theme Week we had today together with FJÅK!

We learned about:
✍🏼 Fjåk’s history - from a small idea to a big business
✍🏼 How Fjåk works to keep an ethical production all the way from the big and small cocoa-farms in different countries to the café and store in Bergen
✍🏼 Their view on sustainability + organic production
✍🏼 About the cocoa industry’s common greenwashing + issues regarding organic certifications, Fairtrade ect.

Join the UN Students Norway on Tuesday at 18:00 for a launch event introducing the Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) agenda🌍
The session will provide an overview of the UN YPS framework and explore its relevance in the Norwegian context. Together, we will discuss whether FN-Studentene could initiate a student-driven proposal for a Norwegian Youth, Peace and Security National Action Plan.
The event will combine a short presentation with an open discussion to gather member perspectives and assess interest in continuing this work.
