The DGA is Looking for a Treasurer to Join the Board

We are pleased to announce that the position of Treasurer is open for applications.

The current Treasurer’s first term has come to an end and, as someone who values democratic and transparent processes, he believes it is important to give other interested candidates the opportunity to express their interest in the role. While he is willing to take on a second term, he would gladly make room for a suitable new candidate should one come forward.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who shares our mission of creating a thriving games industry in the Netherlands and who would like to join the board.

The Treasurer is responsible for the financial health of the DGA and works closely with the board and operational team. The role covers financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and supporting the annual audit process.

In addition, the Treasurer acts as a key advisor to the Chair and board, helping interpret the implications of decisions, ensuring compliance with relevant requirements, and maintaining oversight of the organisation’s financial position.

We are looking for someone with proven experience in financial management and a strong interest in supporting the Dutch games industry. Fluency in Dutch and strong English skills are required, both written and spoken.

Interested in joining a potential NL Pavilion at TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026?

We are exploring the possibility of organizing an NL Pavilion at Tokyo Game Show 2026 (September 17–21, with business days on Sept. 17–18) in collaboration with the Dutch Embassy.

The pavilion would consist of a group of showcase spots in the Indie Area, combined with a networking event hosted together with the embassy. We can only move forward if there is sufficient interest from Dutch game companies.

If you are interested in attending and potentially joining the pavilion, we’d love to hear from you. Please take a minute to fill out this short survey:

CIIIC 2026: Empowering Immersive Creativity

April 16, 2026 | Werkspoorkathedraal, Utrecht | 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Do you work as a creator, researcher, policymaker, or for an organization where immersive experiences (can) make a difference? Then Utrecht is the place to be on April 16.

On April 16, the Dutch IX field comes together. Not a standard conference, but a day where ideas are tested, perspectives converge, and new collaborations emerge. Following the well-attended Annual Meet-Up in 2025, this builds on what started there and marks the next step for immersive creativity in the Netherlands.

The programme is structured around connection, in-depth exploration, and application, with plenary sessions, break-out tracks, and networking. In the afternoon, participants join one of five thematic tracks, each starting from concrete cases (“show, don’t tell”) and moving towards deeper exploration, dialogue, and collaboration.

Are you working on a project within one of the tracks? Case studies and demos that can deepen the discussion are welcome via [email protected].
