The Foundation for a Sustainable Development in Papua Barat (SDSP) was founded from private initiative in 1995 in the Netherlands. SDSP is a Dutch NGO without political or religious backgrounds and is run completely by volunteers. SDSP helps the original people of West Papua - whilst preserving their own identity and culture - to build up a sustainable society in which health care, education, agri

culture, housing and nature conservation are organized in a efficient and effective manner. SDSP raises awareness for West Papua with governments, development organizations, social organizations, private persons and corporations. SDSP supports projects sprung from local initiatives. SDSP' is dependent on fundings and donations for the ex*****on of ts projects.. SDSP's working method is characterized by:
- with a small investment,
- from the start of a project,
- with relevant partners,
- based on topical 'field knowledge',
- develop and execute a coherent policy in which training and education play the most important part and where the result of projects are determined by the cohesian of economical, ecological and social factors

Wat een geweldig feest: 30 jaar SDSP.
Inspiratie, kennisdeling, netwerken en veel gezelligheid.

Dank in Nijkerk voor de fijne ontvangst. Sprekers Marc Argeloo, Daan Veldhuizen en Fadjar Schouten-Korwa voor jullie inspirerende Keynotes. En dank voor de zangers van Mambesak voor de muzikale omlijsting.

Op naar de volgende 30 jaar ;-)

17 april 2026: een mooie event waar we 30 jaar SDSP vieren. Met muziek, dans, inspirerende sprekers en workshops. Leer meer over Papoea, leer de SDSP kennen....raak geïnspireerd. De zaal van het theater in Nijkerk lijkt nu nog leeg... maar we gaan naar de 100 aanwezigen.... dus meld je nog snel aan op: [email protected]!
